A portion of each ticket purchased will be donated to the International Women’s House, an Atlanta based organization whose mission is to provide a safe haven and supportive services to women and children who are victims of family violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking.
Closest parking is located in the Underground Atlanta parking deck owned by Lanier Parking Solutions. Use address: 75 MARTIN LUTHER KING JR DR SW, ATLANTA, GA 30303. You will enter Kenny’s Alley and The Masquerade via the breezeway on Level 3 of the parking deck.
You are also welcome to take MARTA and get off at the FIVE POINTS STATION, or park at any of the other surrounding parking lots and decks in the area. Once parked, you may enter through the Pryor Street entrance to Kenny’s Alley. Walk through the archway entrance to Kenny’s Alley and down three flights of stairs. What can I bring into the event?

Melissa McCarthy has been cast in a new movie filmed in Atlanta. This time the star plays a former executive whose life goes awry when she’s chosen for observation by the world’s first super-intelligence, according to Variety.
Producers are looking to fill several “techie” roles that will shoot on August 9 and 11 in Atlanta, according to a casting call.

If you can move the crowd at a party or nightclub, then you could star in a major TV movie. Hylton Casting is looking for experienced DJs with equipment to work as extras on an upcoming major cable network TV movie.
Shooting will take place on Tuesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8 and 9. The pay rate is $200 for a 12-hour shift, which is guaranteed if you are selected.

Singer Amel Larrieux is coming to Atlanta for an exclusive performance on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at City Winery Atlanta.
Larrieux, known for her popularity in the 1990s starting with Groove Theory and her subsequent solo career, has been a touring artist since that time.

The singer-songwriter and keyboardist has been busy raising a daughter, who has joined her occasionally on stage. In 2000, Larrieux shot to stardom with the release of her debut album “Infinite Possibilities.”
In 2004, she released “Bravebird” on her independent label.
In 2010, Larrieux and Groove Theory partner Bryce Wilson reunited to do a show in Japan with the intent to go back into the studio. They apparently had problems finding a label.
In 2009, Larrieux released two new songs on iTunes, “Orange Glow” and “Don’t Let Me Down.” In 2013, she release her fifth studio album “Ice Cream Every Day.”

The Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show is set for Friday, August 4-6 in downtown Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center.
The annual event will feature more than 100 classes, over 300 exhibitors, 10 special events, five main stage competitions and much more.
There will be two nights of comedy and concerts, top-notch beauty instructions and more.
The show traces its roots to 1947, when Dr. Nathaniel H. Bronner Sr. and Arthur E. Bronner Sr. (the original Bronner Brothers) with the assistance of their sister, Emma Bronner, began teaching cosmetologists at the Butler Street YMCA in Atlanta. Soon the event expanded and became an international event.
