The Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival will take place from Friday, June 14-16 in Mozley Park. This three-day event will commemorate the history and heritage associated with Juneteenth.

Festivities will include shopping with and supporting black owned businesses, non stop performance’s, family reunions, Father’s Day weekend celebrations and more.
Attendees can expect an Afro-fashion-extravaganza, speakers, top musical bands, marching bands, community leaders, community vendors, family activities, workshops, martial arts, yoga, chess tables, car clubs, cycle clubs, voter registration, spoken word, bounce houses and much more.
The Juneteenth celebration is also commemorating the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on the 50th year remembrance of his assassination. Their will be a parade in his memory, on the street that bears his name, in the community where he grew up and went to school.

“Bigger” stars five thirtysomethings looking for love. The show primarily focuses on Layne Roberts as a woman contemplating a marriage to Greg, but things aren’t where they should be. Especially with hunk Reggie Langford vying for her attention.

Young adults put Atlanta nearly at the top of the list when it comes to cities offering the most value, according to the recent U.S. Cities Scorecard for Millennials.
The study is not a “Best Cities” list, but a ranking of how the nation’s top metropolitan areas cater to young people concerned about the environment, commute, culture and jobs.
Atlanta ranks #2 for best cities for millennials
To come up with the results, the study partnered with Centiment.co to survey almost 3,000 millennials across 22 major cities.
When it came to best overall city, Houston was voted #1 followed by Atlanta. Here are the top five cities chosen best overall:

- Atlanta
- Dallas
- Minneapolis
- Austin
