Come celebrate Carnaval all weekend long at Buteco in Atlanta. The festivities begin on Saturday, March 2 and don’t end until Sunday, March 3, 2019.
Butec is located at 1039 Grant Street Southeast #suite c-10 Atlanta, GA 30315.
Buteco’s Carnaval celebration will run the following days:
- FRIDAY – MARCH 1ST | 7PM
- SATURDAY – MARCH 2ND | 7PM
- SUNDAY – MARCH 3RD | 1PM
There will be free admission for Carnaval weekend. There will also be capoiera, live samba, dancers, drinks and food specials.

Atlanta is one of the cities selected by Sprint that will receive 5G technology in the first half of 2019, the cell phone carrier says. Atlanta is getting 5G as competition for the service heats up among the other networks.
Sprint’s greatly expanded Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) partnership with Google means metro Atlanta’s Google Fi customers will also enjoy 5G services.
Sprint, Google to bring 5G internet speed in Atlanta
5G is super-fast internet service that will increase webpage-loading times as well as the speed and resolution of video content. It will reportedly be 10 times faster than 4G.
Atlanta is getting 5G as one of nine cities, along with Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.
“We are incredibly excited to expand our existing relationship with Google to include 5G,” said Jan Geldmacher, president of Sprint Business. “This announcement also showcases our dedication to collaborating with Google as we prepare to launch one of the world’s first mobile 5G networks covering multiple major cities.”

Every first and third Saturday, Parents have a Night Out on the town while Kids have a Night In at the Art Center. Marsha Ambrosius is bringing her soulful sounds to Atlanta’s City Winery for a series of two shows in March 2019. Ambrosius will play the venue on successive nights, March 12 and 13. City Winery is located at 650 North Avenue NE Ste 201, Atlanta, Ga. 30308.
The British singer grew to fame as one half of the R&B/soul group Floetry, where Ambrosius would sing melodies while her partner recited poetry.

Marsha Ambrosius-Billups, yes, she’s gotten married, is an English singer and songwriter from Liverpool, England. She embarked on her musical career as a member of Floetry. Ambrosius released her debut solo album Late Nights & Early Mornings in March 2011.
