This Romania date stood out because most of Hilson’s 2026 bookings were in the United States—festival and package shows in cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Norfolk, Omaha, and Hawaii—plus earlier appearances in Kazakhstan. Tour aggregators listed only a handful of remaining U.S. dates after the summer, with no additional confirmed European legs appearing in major listings as of early September.
Hilson’s live activity in 2026 coincided with her return to recording after a long hiatus. She discussed a new album, We Need To Talk, her first in 15 years, and expressed interest in more touring, including smaller venues where she could connect directly with audiences. The Romania booking placed her back on a large outdoor stage with fellow 2000s names, including her frequent collaborator Timbaland, in a market where those records still carry strong recognition.14

Atlanta native T-Boz of TLC is recovering at home after a sickle cell crisis forced her off the road, as the group’s hometown date at Chastain Park approaches.
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, 56, was hospitalized after a sickle cell crisis and is now “recovering and regaining her strength,” her representative Christal Jordan said in a statement first reported this week.
T-Boz Sickle Cell Crisis: What We Know
The flare-up pulled her from multiple dates on TLC’s It’s Iconic Tour with Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue. Bandmate Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas has been performing the group’s catalog solo, with fans and fellow acts filling in T-Boz’s parts and offering prayers from the crowd.
TLC manager Bill Diggins later said the condition is not considered life-threatening and that Watkins is improving each day. Recovery from a crisis can take days or weeks. She will return only when fully recovered and medically cleared. Chilli will continue the remaining dates in the meantime.
Chilli addressed the absence onstage at the Aug. 28 show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut. “As you guys know, my sister T-Boz has sickle cell… sometimes those flare-ups come, and this is that time,” she told the audience, asking fans to “hold her down.” Similar messages followed at later Northeast stops.
Atlanta roots and a hometown date still on the calendar
Watkins was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and moved to the Atlanta area at age 9. TLC formed in Atlanta in the early 1990s and became one of the city’s defining musical exports, with hits including “Waterfalls,” “No Scrubs,” and “Creep.” Watkins has long been open about living with sickle cell disease since childhood; doctors once told her she would not live past 30. She has written about the illness in her memoir A Sick Life.
The tour itself launched Aug. 15 in Franklin, Tennessee. It is scheduled to play Atlanta’s Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park on Oct. 2. That hometown date remains on the books, though whether Watkins will be cleared to perform is not yet known. Promoters have not canceled remaining shows.
September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month. Watkins has spoken for years about the pain, organ-risk, and unpredictability of crises, which can be triggered by stress, dehydration, or infection. Representatives have asked fans to keep prayers coming and thanked audiences for singing her parts and surrounding the group with support.
Friends including Jodeci’s Mr. Dalvin have also publicly asked for prayers. The group’s statement emphasized gratitude: “The love shown for T-Boz has been overwhelming.”
Atlanta fans hoping to see the full original pairing of T-Boz and Chilli on the Chastain Park lawn will have to wait for a medical update closer to Oct. 2. For now the official word is cautious optimism and rest.

That pitch lands differently in Atlanta than it might in a generic wellness brochure. This is a city where walking culture already has a social life of its own — Beltline loops, park meetups, women’s clubs that treat a few miles as both exercise and community. What’s new here is the host and the focus: a public figure who just had her fourth child and is using her platform to pull other mothers into the same routine she’s crediting with a better postpartum season.
A celebrity mom who keeps saying the quiet part out loud
Sukihana — born Destiny Jones — has never sold a polished “perfect mom” brand. Tiffany Haddish pleaded guilty on August 11, 2026, to a misdemeanor alcohol-related DUI charge in a Fayette County courtroom in Fayetteville, Georgia, resolving a case that stemmed from her January 2022 arrest.
The actor and comedian, known for roles in Girls Trip and her Emmy- and Grammy-winning work, entered the plea by video on the day her long-delayed trial was set to begin. Other charges, including a drug-related DUI count, were dropped as part of the agreement. She initially said she’d fight the case. She avoided additional jail time and was credited for the brief period she spent in custody after her arrest.
Fayette County State Court Judge Jason Thompson sentenced Haddish to 12 months of probation. Conditions include abstaining from drugs and alcohol (with testing), completing a substance abuse evaluation, attending DUI school or a counseling program, and performing community service. Her Georgia driver’s license was also suspended.2
The 2022 Arrest
The case originated in the early morning hours of January 14, 2022. Around 2:30 a.m., a 911 caller reported a person who appeared to be asleep in the driver’s seat of a white Ford Explorer, foot on the brake, at a traffic light in Peachtree City (about 30 miles south of Atlanta). An officer located a matching vehicle and stopped Haddish as she pulled into a residential yard. She was arrested on DUI-related charges and taken to the Fayette County Jail; she posted bond and was released after a short time in custody.
The case faced significant delays. In May 2026, Haddish’s attorneys sought dismissal, arguing the multi-year wait violated her right to a speedy trial and caused personal and professional harm. The judge rejected the motion, noting that some delays were requested by the defense (including one tied to a fashion event). Evidence issues, such as certain field sobriety test results and post-arrest statements, had also been litigated earlier.
Context and Related Matters
Haddish has publicly discussed sobriety in recent years. She faced a separate DUI arrest in Beverly Hills, California, in November 2023. That case was resolved in February 2024 when she pleaded no contest to a reduced “wet reckless” (vehicle code) charge; the original DUI counts were dismissed, and she received probation along with other requirements.25
During the Georgia hearing, her attorney indicated she was taking the matter seriously and had been open about her sobriety journey. The plea ends more than four years of legal proceedings related to the Peachtree City incident.

Speaking to The Fader magazine, Ka’oir said that his social media debut was strategic, and everything happened the way she planned.
“When we got to Atlanta, we got off the plane on the runway and we had a private service that took us to our home. Then when we got home, that’s when I started posting on Snapchat. That was all my plan,” she was quoted as saying.

Atlanta native Ciara took the internet by storm on Wednesday, showing the first public pictures of baby Sienna. The starlet decided to give the public some awesome pics on the app TraceMe.
The 9-month-old girl is the daughter of the singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
“I’m so excited to be opening up my world to you on TraceMe,” Ciara told the world. “You guys know that I tend to be private with a lot of things, but with TraceMe I can have a genuine, unfiltered connection with you all.”
Ciara also has a 3-year-old son from Atlanta rapper Future Hendricks. The boy’s name is Future Zahir.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes is in the news again, this time for sharing her thoughts on the cast and who needs to be gone.
“If I had it my way, I would get rid of two girls,” Leakes told TooFab. Everyone who watches the show knows that she and Porsha Williams have been at odds since the start of Season 10.
“In my opinion, yes — the cast should be changed up a bit,” NeNe told TooFab in a recent interview. “If I had it my way, I would get rid of two girls and bring in two new ones for excitement. You know, after a while with some of the girls, they just don’t have anything going on exciting enough to be a main cast member.”
“But I better keep who I think should go to myself because the moment I say anything, all hell breaks loose,” she said.
