Nike has unveiled a limited-edition Georgia x Outkast apparel and on-field collection that bridges the University of Georgia Bulldogs’ football heritage with the iconic sound and style of the Atlanta hip-hop duo Outkast.
Created in collaboration with collegiate lifestyle brand Class Trip, the drop celebrates the first-ever Georgia vs. Florida game played in Atlanta—set for October 31, 2026, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium—while honoring the year 1996, when Outkast released the landmark album ATLiens and a young safety named Kirby Smart played in the Georgia secondary.

The collection, also referred to as Outkast U, draws directly from the personal wardrobes and aesthetic of André 3000 and Big Boi. Its signature mark combines the Georgia “G” with Outkast’s crown, paired with script reading “University of Georgia, Outkast 1996” and the number 96 featured prominently on jerseys. Nike and Class Trip worked with the Outkast and Georgia teams to blend the iconography of both institutions.
Key pieces include a red wool varsity jacket with black leather sleeves, chenille patches, and chain-stitch embroidery bearing “Georgia” and “Outkast” across the back; football jerseys in both a cropped mesh practice cut and a heavyweight cotton retro style with “96” and “Outkast” across the shoulders; rugby shirts with a white chest stripe and red-and-black hoop; a satin bomber; a heavyweight fleece hoodie; Max90 graphic T-shirts; and headwear such as cord caps in Georgia script, a snapback, and bucket hats.
Additional graphics nod to lyrics and imagery like “So Fresh, So Clean.” On-field and sideline gear exclusive to Georgia athletes, coaches, and staff for the Florida game includes eye-shield decals, skullcaps, wristbands, mouthguards, and gloves carrying the collaboration’s motifs.
Class Trip founder Brian Francis explained the origin: “This started over lunch with André. He was telling stories about driving up to Athens to watch the Dawgs. Then we saw Georgia vs. Florida was headed to Atlanta for the first time ever. Georgia’s football and its music, together in the city that made Outkast. They put Atlanta on the map. This is our thank you.” Creative director Jon Tietz added that the goal was to create something as timeless as Outkast’s music, referencing the yin-and-yang energy of the duo’s “Roses” video and ensuring every piece “felt like it walked right out of that hallway.”
The campaign was shot in Athens over the summer and features six Georgia football players who are part of Nike’s NIL roster: safety KJ Bolden, cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, linebacker Chris Cole, wide receiver Talyn Taylor, and tight ends Kaiden Prothro and Elyiss Williams.
These athletes restaged familiar frames from Outkast’s photographic history. The players signed third-party NIL deals with Nike earlier in 2026 as part of the brand’s expanding football roster and Blue Ribbon Elite program, which provides personalized support on and off the field across sport, business, and culture. Georgia has one of the larger contingents among major programs under such partnerships.
Availability begins October 27 via SNKRS, Class Trip, and select Nike retail partners in Atlanta, with the full collection launching October 28 at nike.com and additional retail locations. A game-day pop-up will operate at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on October 31.
The drop arrives amid a broader wave of Outkast cultural celebrations in Atlanta, including recent limited-edition collaborations with the Atlanta Falcons (marking the 30th anniversary of ATLiens with neon-accented apparel and a Big Boi halftime performance) and Waffle House. It reinforces the deep ties between Georgia football, Atlanta’s hip-hop legacy, and Southern identity—echoing Outkast’s famous 1995 declaration that “the South got something to say.”
Nike’s longstanding apparel partnership with the Bulldogs, combined with the NIL involvement of current stars projected as high-end NFL prospects, positions the collection as both a cultural moment and a commercial bridge between campus, city, and the broader sneaker and streetwear worlds.
Fans can expect pieces that blend collegiate tradition with the eclectic, forward-looking style that defined Outkast, timed perfectly for a historic rivalry game that moves the longtime Jacksonville contest into the heart of ATL.
