Atlanta movie mogul Tyler Perry is no stranger to having his name in lights. The actor-writer-producer and filmmaker has been making successful movies for most of the century, but his work habits are what separates him.
Perry recently shared a glimpse of his prolific productivity on social media. In a video he uploaded to his accounts, he shows TV show scripts for some of his current productions he’s filming.
What’s Tyler Perry Filming? All Of These Scripts
The camera pans to show “The Haves & Have Nots,” “The Oval,” and other series that he has on TV or streaming services.
“I don’t know if you know this but most shows on television have a writer’s room … I have no writer’s room, nobody writes any of my work. I write it all.”
Perry says “Why am I telling you this? I wrote all of these scripts by myself in 2019. What’s my point? WORK ETHIC!”

Eddie Murphy returned to host Saturday Night Live for the first time in 35 years and he killed it. Eddie Murphy brought a certain riskiness and edge we’ve come to know about SNL back to the show.
One of those particular moments happened during his Mr. Rogers skit, which he brought back along with some timely updates.
Watch Eddie Murphy On SNL
This time Mr. Rogers does an explainer on gentrification and even racism, all tongue in cheek of course. The biggest laugh, though, came when it mentioned Atlanta.
