Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” starring Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson is casting in Atlanta in anticipation of filming in May 2019 for reshoots. The pay is above average — $150 a day for eight hours.
The film is based on Disneyland’s theme park ride, where a small riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles. In addition to the Rock the cast features Emily Blunt and Jack Whitehall.

The Rum Punch Brunch presents Scramble Brunch Fest – Soca De Mayo Block Party! Celebrating both Cinco de Mayo and the Atlanta Carnival season. In the spirit of inclusiveness and diversity, the event is free for everyone.
Soca De Mayo Block Party is happening Sunday, May 5 at Sound Table at 483 Edgewood Avenue Southeast Atlanta, GA 30312.

Scramble will feature brunch/street food items from the Caribbean, while paying special homage to our neighbors Mexico in honor of Cinco de Mayo— items include Breakfast Burritos, Ackee & Saltfish Tacos, Mexican Street Corn, Fish & Chips, Jerk Wings and Doubles, Jamaican Fried Chicken, and more.
