As the shopping season gets underway, you may be wondering which Atlanta stores offer curbside pickup. In addition to grocery stores, different types of retailers are offering the service. These retailers make it easy to get the products you’ve ordered online. All you have to do is pull up.
This article is going to show you the Atlanta retailers that offer curbside pickup this shopping season. But first, let’s start with a fundamental question…
What Is Curbside Pickup?
Curbside pickup refers to the concierge approach to retail in which the customer picks up their products and goods outside the store rather than inside.
In most cases, curbside pickup refers to a designated area outside the store where your items can be brought to you. Curbside pickup has exploded in popularity due to the necessity of COVID-19 precautions.
How Does Curbside Pickup Work?
Curbside pickup works with the cooperation of the customer and retail associate. Customers have the opportunity to pull up “to the curb” or in the front of the store and have their items brought to their car by a staff member.
The idea behind curbside pickup is that it cuts down on the number of people inside the store as well as eliminates the need for the shopper to get out of their vehicle.
The curbside pickup process works like this:
- You go to the store’s website or app
- You shop for items and checkout digitally
- You get a notification on when your order is ready or you select a time range to come pick it up
If you choose curbside pickup, typically you will receive a text, email or app notification of when your item is ready. When you pull up outside the store, you will either show them your phone or tell them your name.
Is There A Fee For Curbside Pickup?
Most retailers provide curbside pickup for free. If you order an item online, take a moment to analyze your receipt to see if a charg3 has been levied for curbside pickup.
Stores typically don’t charge for curbside pickup, but such fees are up to the individual retailer.

The Atlanta Falcons have fired head coach Dan Quinn and General Manager Thomas Dimitroff hours after their loss to the Carolina Panthers, the team confirmed late Sunday.
Falcons President and CEO Rich McKay will assume day-to-day operations for the ball club, which had high hopes for this season.
“Decisions like these are very difficult,” owner Authur Blank said in a written statement. “But the previous two seasons and start to this one have been especially hard for me because of the deep love, respect and admiration I and my family have for Dan, Thomas and their families.”
If you would have told Atlanta Falcons and Quinn that his team would begin the 2020 season 0-5, no doubt he would not believe it. But that’s hole the Falcons have dug for themselves.
As the season progresses, here are their remaining opponents, which will do all they can to continue the Falcons’ losing ways. Can Atlanta rebound? They have to. Let’s look at the schedule to see their chances.
Who Do The Falcons Play This Week?
The Falcons entered the season with big hopes, but coaching issues and a penchant for folding in the second half have haunted them.

Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn started the season on the hot seat after failing to avenge his team’s Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots two years ago.

Criticism reached a fever pitch when the Falcons lost at the last second in Week 2 to the Dallas Cowboys. The noise got deafening after a similarly brutal collapse against the Chicago Bears.
In both games, the Falcons lead by double figures in the fourth quarter and nearly three scores at halftime. But Quinn managed to find a way to lose both games.

If Walmart is your favorite store, you’ll surely love its new membership service, Walmart Plus, which offers customers free, unlimited same-day delivery service, fuel discounts and more.
In this article, we’re going to tell you everything you need to know about Walmart Plus.
The Bentonville, Arkansas-based company has been testing an Amazon Prime rival for some time now and is ready to debut amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Here are three things to know about Walmart Plus.
What is Walmart Plus and What Do You Get With It?
Walmart Plus is the company’s new membership plan similar to Sam’s Club, which it owns. Here are some of the top benefits that come with Walmart Plus:
- Unlimited free delivery
- Scan & Go shopping in the Walmart app
- 5 cents a gallon fuel discounts at Walmarts
How To Sign Up For Walmart Plus?
Walmart says the new membership service began on September 15, 2020. So basically, you get two weeks free service before your plan begins on October 1.
The two-week grace period is also plenty of time to see how your benefits pan out when you order from Walmart.com for same day, next day or two-day delivery.
You can sign up for Walmart Plus at walmart.com/plus.
How Much Does Walmart Plus Cost?
Walmart Plus costs $98 a year or $12.95 a month, the retailer says. If you want to test out the service before committing to buy it, there’s a 15-day free trial period.
Walmart is obviously trying to compete with Prime here, making the price a tad bit cheaper than Amazon’s monthly membership costs.
Last Words
Walmart says it will add even more perks to Walmart Plus “in the future,” but doesn’t elaborate.
