• Should the Atlanta Falcons start Michael Penix and bench Kirk Cousins?

Matt Ryan: ‘You’ve Got To Stick With Kirk Cousins’ — For Now

    3 Min Read

After the Atlanta Falcons lost their third-straight game that looked a lot like quarterback ineptitude, many fans in Falcons Nation are getting vocal about making a change.

The burning question that Falcons fan want to know if whether its time to bench Kirk Cousins, who was paid $180 million for a four-year contract, which includes a $50 million signing bonus and $100 million guaranteed. The contract’s average annual value is $45 million.

Should the Falcons Bench Kirk Cousins for Penix?

Future Hall of Famer and former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan says, “I think you’ve got to stick with Kirk.”

Ryan’s rationale is that the Falcons face a Vikings defense with defensive coordinator Brian Flores, “all the different packages that he has from a blitz perspective.”

Ryan didn’t give a ringing endorsement for Cousins over the long haul of the season or even next week’s game.

“If it goes bad and it’s not kind of the first half that you want, I know Raheem has said that he’s not going to make a change at this point, but I think that they’d be apt to make an in-game change. It’s unfortunate because I think Kirk has been a really good player for a long time, but he’s just really struggled over the last couple of weeks.”

The Issue With Kirk Cousins’ Contract

Cousins’ contract with the Falcons will loom large over whether to keep him or trade him after the season. Of course, it also depends on Penix’s readiness.

    Details of the contract:

    • The contract was signed on March 11, 2024
    • The contract includes a potential out before the 2026 season
    • The contract makes Cousins the 14th highest-paid quarterback in the NFL

    Impact on Cousins’ career earnings:

    • If Cousins plays out the contract, his career earnings will be just over $411.6 million
    • Cousins is now second on the list of highest-earning players in NFL history, behind only Aaron Rodgers

    Other notable details:

    • Cousins was coming off a season-ending Achilles injury
    • Cousins’ contract guarantees $100 million

Can the Falcons Still Win the NFC South?

Yes, the Falcons can still win the NFC South, particularly because they swept the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier in the year. Here’s how the standings currently look.

    Standings

    NFC SOUTHWL
    Atlanta Falcons Falcons66
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers Buccaneers66
    New Orleans Saints Saints48
    Carolina Panthers Panthers39

    Final Word

Cousins is known for his strong accuracy as a passer. Over his career, he has consistently ranked among the top quarterbacks in completion percentage. His ability to place the ball where his receivers can make plays is one of his defining traits. This is especially evident on shorter, intermediate routes, where Cousins thrives in delivering precise throws.

He is experiencing a slump that he must get out of if he’s going to lead the Falcons to the playoffs.

Okay now, the place is outstanding. Attended a wedding at this location and it was stunning. Everything inside was exceptional. Very ornate and grand. 5 Steps To Lose Weight Without Exercise In 2025

    3 Min Read

It’s time to get serious about losing those extra pounds. Fortunately, your goals are in sight if you work hard.

Of course, you can always join a gym and hit the treadmill, the free weights and the machines to do your repetitions. But there’s another way…

Here’s How To Lose Weight Without Exercise

This article is going to show you how to lose weight without exercise and it’s not a trick. Let’s get started…

    1. Cut The Sugar

You don’t have to do on the latest fad diet to lose weight without exercise, but you do have to eat better and cleaner. The #1 to do that is to cut out sugar.

If you’re serious about losing weight, it’s not enough to just cut down on the sugar, you need to cut it out completely.

    2. Drink Plenty Of Water

In addition to cutting the sugar, you’re going to have to increase your water intake big-time.

But how much water should you drink a day? Physicians typically say that the average person needs eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day.

That’s the equivalent of drinking a 2 liter of water in a bottle, or a half gallon. That’s a good way to stay hydrated and get your body to flush itself out continually.

    3. Get Plenty Of Rest

If you want your body to work for you, you need to get plenty of rest. Going to sleep early can give your body the rest it needs as well as cut down on late-night snacking.

But here’s the thing: Not a lot of people know that the way we actually lose pounds is through our sleep. By sleeping our body emits pounds through our mouth. Get some rest!

    4. Reduce Your Portion Size

Another good way to lose weight without exercising is to reduce your portions on your plate.

We live in a Super Size Me society these days, and it’s killing us. But you don’t have to subscribe to those eating habits.

Don’t order extra large fries, drinks or anything like that, and if you do, save half of it for the next day.

    5. Add A Veggie Night

One thing you’re going to have to come to terms with is that you’re trying to help your body’s nutrition. That means eat more fruits and vegetables.

We already told you to cut the sugar, now it’s time to choose a night to skip the meat. If you add a veggie night, you can drastically improve your health.

    Final Word

As any health nut will tell you, losing weight isn’t a fad, it’s a lifestyle. And a lifestyle change takes a lot of effort and contemplation.

If you happen to slip up and relapse periodically, don’t give up!

If you need some inspiration, keep a journal to document your path to lose weight. You’ll be happy you followed these steps in the end.

How To Travel Cheap In 2025: 5 Steps To Work

    5 Min Read

This is the year that you travel like you’ve always wanted to — for less. All it takes is a strategy that you can put into practice before and during your trip.

This article will show you some real-life ways to save on travel this year. This steps are easy, simple to follow and money-saving.

5 Ways To Save On Travel This Year

The way to go about it is to really prioritize what you’re really trying to get out of your vacation. Are you trying to go snorkeling? Are the best bars and restaurants what’s important?

    1. Make A List

Yes, make a list of your priorities and what you’re trying to do. This is the only true way that you’re going to be on a trip that makes YOU happy.

Put on the list what you expect and want in a hotel. Also include what you want to experience when it comes to nightlife, breakfast, lunch, etc.

Also, make sure you check the U.S. State Department website to ensure that wherever you want to go doesn’t have a travel alert.

Don’t travel without this essential list.

    2. Search For Cheap Airfare

The key to cheap travel is to find flights that are affordable. All it really takes is for you to subscribe to sites that do all the hard work for you.

The sites that put extensive time into researching cheap flights are these:

Once you start getting flight deals emailed to you from these sites and those like these, you’ll be able to see the possibilities of where you can go for cheap.

But here’s what you’re going to need to do when you start looking at these flights and your schedule:

Be Flexible: The best travel deals are only as good as your availability.

Avoid Vacation Season: Airfares are highest during these times. Straight up.

Jump On It: If you see a great deal, do not procrastinate. It won’t last forever. It might even be a mistake fare. So you better jump on it.

Here’s how to get cheap flights out of Atlanta.

    3. Don’t Be Picky

A major way that airlines and hotels make their money is by charging for upgrades and upselling you on things you don’t really need.

If you can fly in a Basic Economy seat, then that’s what you need to do. Remember, your goal ultimately is to save money.

Once you’ve selected a cheap flight, it’s time to turn your attention toward where you’ll stay. Again, you want a place that’s as cheap as possible.

    4. Find A Place To Stay

The goal here is to find as cheap a hotel as you possibly can. The way to go about that is to sign up for sites that show you deals on lodgings.

    These Sites Offer Hotel Deals

These Sites Let You Stay For Free

Nothing’s cheaper than free. Believe it or not, there are some great ways that you can stay in a place completely free of charge.

If you’re familiar with international housesitting, here are some sites to look at:

    5. Eat Cheap In Another Country

Now comes perhaps the most difficult part: Eating cheap. You may want to splurge on food when you travel to a foreign country, but it’s best to be conservative.

What you DO want to do is make sure you experience the cultural cuisine (No McDonalds).

Instead of looking to try the fancy restaurants at a particular destination, make a day of trying nothing but street food and other outdoor vendors.

Another day you can try whatever the fast food is (hint: It’s healthier than the U.S.) or you could eat the country’s staple food, which is always cheaper.

Remember to drink plenty of water. In fact, that should be your primary beverage for most of your trip.

    Final Thought

Airfares continue to rise at your favorite airlines, but that doesn’t mean you can’t save money on travel.

The main thing you want to do when it comes to cheap travel is that you want to live on their terms. It would be impractical to do otherwise.

Why not visit the city’s tourism office and get coupons? Inquire about special deals for tourists and other things that will help your wallet.

That way, you’ll be able to enjoy your cheap travel knowing that you saved money.

Once you get your passport, you should be ready for your trip. Make sure you have found the cheapest flights from Atlanta that are on sale.

To Atlanta is one of the most convenient places to travel to and from. A large part of that is because Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is so accessible.

Not only is it the world’s busiest airport, but it’s state-of-the-art in every way. If you’re interesting in traveling around Atlanta via car or even on scooter, here’s what to know.

How To Save on a Tablet

If you’re serious about saving money on a tablet, here’s what to know. Saving money on a tablet is all about smart shopping and prioritizing your needs. Here are some tips:

    1. Determine Your Needs

Choose features you actually need, like screen size, storage capacity, or whether you want a stylus. Skipping high-end specs you won’t use can save you money.

    2. Shop Sales and Promotions

Look for deals during major sales events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and back-to-school seasons.

Check retailers’ clearance sections or flash sales for discounts on older models.

Some retailers offer discounts for students, teachers, or members of programs like Amazon Prime.

    3. Consider Refurbished or Used Tablets

Refurbished tablets are often certified, tested, and come with warranties, offering significant savings compared to new models.

Platforms like Amazon Renewed, Best Buy Outlet, or Apple Certified Refurbished are reliable sources.

    4. Compare Models

Look at competing brands. Mid-range or budget brands often provide excellent value compared to premium names like Apple or Samsung. For instance, Amazon Fire tablets or Lenovo devices offer functionality at a lower cost than an iPad.

    5. Trade-In Programs

Many retailers and manufacturers, such as Apple, Best Buy, or Amazon, offer trade-in discounts for your old device.

Also, last year’s tablets often have similar features as the newest ones but at a reduced price.

    6. Bundle Deals

Look for bundles that include accessories like cases or keyboards, saving you from buying them separately.

    7. Price Match

Many stores, like Best Buy and Target, offer price matching. Compare prices online and ask for the best deal.

Also, cellular models cost more upfront and require a data plan. If you can rely on Wi-Fi, skip this feature.

    Final Word

By researching options and taking advantage of promotions, you can find a high-quality tablet at a budget-friendly price.

Speaking of electronics, if you want to know where to take your cracked phone, here are some handy resources.

How To Rent Your House To Earn Extra Income

    5 Min Read
Have you ever thought about renting your home out to a film production company? Atlanta, Georgia, is a movie mecca, so it’s easy to find projects that need a location. When you take a look at your home, you may not see extra money, but that’s exactly what it can be. All you have to do is rent your your home for services that are in demand. One thing that may be in need near you are filming locations. Your house no doubt is the largest purchase you’ve ever made. Now it’s time for the big pay back. Check out these ways that you could rent out your home to earn extra money.

How To Rent Your House To Earn Extra Money

Not only are these methods fairly easy in a city like Atlanta, but this can work in any city in America.

Let’s look at five steps you must do to rent your home and be successful:

    1. Make Sure You’re Landlord Material

It may sound strange, but just because you have a home for rent doesn’t mean you’re a good landlord.

It’s actually a lot of work, especially in the beginning.
Lots of legal paperwork as well as physical labor.

Of course, you can always hire a property manager. That will drew up your time and mind, but that will also eat into your bottom line.

Here are some of the tasks of a landlord:
    • Take care of repairs
    • Handle all maintenance
    • Pay insurance & property taxes
    • Collect rent
    • Get along with the tenant
If you’re up to the tasks, you can make some real money by renting your home.

    2. Clean Up

The first thing you’re going to have to do is get your home professionally cleaned or gather some friends and family for a big scrub-down.

Only with a thorough cleaning can you see what kind of condition the home is in. Only then can you see how much rent your house can fetch on the open market.

You will want to scrub baseboards, mop floors, wipe down walls, blinds and wash curtains. Once it’s all clean, you may decide to make some modest improvements.

    3. Upgrades

If you have some fixtures or appliances that work but have become dated, you may choose to upgrade them.

We’re not talking about major upgrades, but smaller DIY projects that could modernize the space and persuade people to stay there.

A fresh coat of paint to a room or two is just one suggestion. Here are some nice touches you could add:

Diamond Brite Paint 31150 5-Gallon Oil Base All Purpose Enamel Paint Grey – $109

    Buy It

Solar Lights Bright Pathway Outdoor Garden Stakes – $56

Dynasty Hardware Door Handles (6 Pack) – $104

    Buy It

    4. Market Your House

Now it’s time to market your house to see if you can rent it out. Make sure you use words like “gourmet,” and “amenities.” Of course, always be honest in the descriptions you use.

Of course you could post some flyers in the surrounding area, but today it’s way easier to market online.

What Is The Best Website For Rental Homes?

Here are some of the best sites to list your house for rent:
Believe it or not, some Realtors will help homeowners to rent out their homes. Of course, the agent will charge a commission.

    5. Choose The Right Tenant

The best experience you could possibly have as a landlord has everything to do with choosing the right tenant.
If you rent your home to someone that likes to throw parties all the time, or is a smoker, or takes in rescue animals, you may Ed up regretting it.
It’s mandatory that you screen all potential renters by running a background check. In addition to verifying employment and credit history, you should also ask for multiple references.

And note: For security reasons, all of this should be done before you meet them in person.

    Last Thought

Renting out your home is one of the biggest financial decisions you can make.
I’d highly suggest you familiarize yourself with state tenants rights and landlord rights so you know how to operate within the law.

By doing your homework and due diligence, it can be a profitable endeavor.
