Final Thoughts
Wigs are great fashion aids and can really save the day when you don’t want to do your hair. With that being said, you shouldn’t wear a wig every day.
As much as love your hairpiece, you need to give your scalp and natural hair time to breathe. That will protect the skin cells atop your head and allow them to continue to thrive.
Don’t want to wear wigs all the time? Try some hats!Want to treat your hair good? You can do it yourself. All you need are some quality shears and some high-performance clippers to get the job done. Check out our Beauty Page for other ways to get shaped up.

Schoolkids around the nation increasingly use tablets and laptops to do their schoolwork. If you’re budget-conscious, you can find some great deals on these on other electronics.
Don’t think for a second that you have to go out and spend big money on a computer for your child.
In this article, I’m going to show you how to save money on laptops and tablets.
How To Get A Discount on Laptops And Tablets In 2022
The first thing you need to do is think about the types of activities your child will be doing with his or her computer.
The point is that they may not need a terabyte of memory for what they’re doing. And that’s a good thing.

How To Save Money On Electronics
Here are three places to look to save money on laptops and tablets:
1. Buy Refurbished Laptops Online
Many of the top retailers sell refurbished laptops, including Walmart and Amazon. Here are some cheap laptops I found on Amazon:
- 15.6-inch screen Acer Chromebook
- 14-inch Elitebook Laptop
- Acer Aspire Laptop
- 14.1-inch display Dell Latitude
- 14-inch Samsung Chromebook
- ASUS VivoBook
The good thing about Amazon is that they typically offer a 90-day warranty.
2. Try The Pawn Shop
If you haven’t been to the pawn shop in a while, you may be surprised to find that they may have quite a stockpile of electronics, including laptops.
Contrary to popular belief, many pawn shops today provide you with a warranty on your purchase, usually for 30 days. That’s pretty decent protection for a used item.
3. Buy From Deals Websites
If you want to get some electronics for cheap, the #1 place is on deals websites. Here are some of my favorites:
4. Buy A Display Model
You can save more money on laptops and other electronics, if you opt for the floor model or display model inside the store.
Many stores have laptops they’ve had on display for a while up for sale. Ask the store manager if it’s available for purchase.
5. Opt For A Bare-Bones Model
Another way to save on a laptop is to choose one that doesn’t have a lot of upgraded features. If you buy electronics with all the bells and whistles, you’re going to spend double or triple the cost of a base model.
Last Words
The most important way to save money on laptops and electronics in general is to comparison shop. It’s the only way to know that you’ve gotten the best price!
If you can’t find some cheap laptops on those websites or you know of other sites with electronics for less, please let us know in the comments.
Speaking of electronics, if you want to know where to take your cracked phone, here are some handy resources.

Atlanta rapper Gunna will have to remain behind bars for more than six months after a Fulton County judge denied him bail on Monday, May 23, 2022.
Gunna, whose real name is Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, is accused of being part of a gang.
Prosecutors say the rapper’s musical associates, who collectively call themselves YSL (Young Slime Life), is a criminal operation. In court, the State alleged that Gunna serves in a “command” role in the organization.
When Is Gunna’s Trial Set?
The judge set a trial date for January 9, 2023, for Gunna to face the charges. There’s a lot that can happen in that timespan so more legal developments could very well prompt more changes.
Also facing RICO charges is YSL honcho Young Thug, real name is Jeffery Williams, who has been jailed for a few weeks now. The judge in the case has decided to postpone judgment until June 2 on whether to let the rapper post bond.
Young Thug was arrested at his Buckhead mansion on May 9 and Gunna surrendered to authorities two days later after Fulton County officials issued a 56-page gang indictment. The document alleges the pair are a part of — and running — a criminal organization involved in some serious crimes, including murder.
What Is RICO?
A RICO case is one that involves charges of participation in organized crime and in this case specifically, street gang activity. Georgia’s RICO Act is more wide-ranging than the federal equivalent so there is more of a chance that the charges may stick.
RICO, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, was made into law in 1970 as a way for the United States to fight organize crime.
The indictment also includes charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery , participation in criminal street gang activity.
What Is Gunna Charged With?
Gunna is charged with a one count of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. Although 27 people are also charged in the case, Gunna and Young Thug are the two main targets. What Is Young Thug Charged With?
Thug is facing a litany of charges besides the RICO counts including possession of a sawed-off shotgun, sawed-off rifle, machine gun, dangerous weapon, or silencer; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of a Schedule III, IV, or V controlled substance with intent to distribute; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Porsha Williams, the Atlanta entrepreneur and mother, who came to fame on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, says she reached a breaking point not long ago that she’s just now able to talk about.
When she burst onto the reality TV scene in 2012, Williams said she didn’t know that with the spotlight came a lot of scrutiny and judgment. A high-profile divorce and many on-set fights put her in a light she sometimes didn’t want to be in. Then she suffered a miscarriage.
“With the platform of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, you really don’t understand the magnitude of what you’re a part of. Everything I say matters. There are a lot of people listening, a lot of young girls and a lot of women,” she was quoted as saying in Forbes. “And once the realization came to me about the power I had, I decided to start speaking about fibroids. And speaking about suffering with fibroids over the years, I couldn’t not talk about the miscarriage because the fibroids caused my miscarriage.”
Williams, whose grandfather is the late Hosea Williams, a prominent civil rights activist who marched with the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and paved a courageous and illustrious reputation as a freedom fighter in his own right, says she has learned through the years to value who she is.
Mental health has become a hot-button topic in recent years. Even the White House has moved to come up with a strategy to combat behaviorial issues that affect us all. Porsha says she’s learned to concentrate on herself.
“Whenever I wake up in the morning and feel those lows, I immediately prioritize Porsha,” she told the publication.
“I bet you thought I was going to say my daughter, but I prioritize myself. I will stop my morning, I don’t care what else is going on. I take it as a health emergency and I will stay in the bed, I will go in the bathtub, I will cry it out. I prioritize myself, because when I can be the best that I can be, then I can be that person for someone else. I can be the best mommy to Pilar. I don’t feel like it’s selfish at all to prioritize my mental health above everything. This is how I’ve pulled myself through depression through the years.”
Now a successful businesswoman, Williams has poured herself into entrepreneurship, launching several businesses.Don’t miss her new book coming on November, 30 2022 The Pursuit of Porsha. As a local celeb, Williams is not the only reality TV star making boss moves.Want to know what’s happening in and around Atlanta? It’s not easy to clean up a home. There are so many things that need to be wiped down, disinfected or downright washed. The good news is that with a little effort, you can do it.
This article will provide some house-cleaning tips that you can use to stay focused on getting your residence up to par.
1. Make Your Bed Every Day
You may not think much of making your bed, but it’s the #1 indicator of whether a person is tidy or not. Think about it, if you don’t clean your most private quarters, can you be expected to have neat surroundings outside of that?
Another reason to make up your bed every day is that it gives you a sense of accomplishment regardless of whatever else you do that day.
Also, making up your bed is a great self-esteem builder, even when you live alone.
2. Wipe Down The Ceiling Fan Blades
One of the most overlooked areas of the living room (or any room) is the ceiling fan. The blades typically collect dust after about three months of use.
If you have a home where you leave the front or back door open more often, your ceiling fan may get dusty around five weeks at a time.
Get yourself a microfiber towel and wipe down your ceiling fan blades about every month to keep them clean.
3. Use A Bleach Pen To Clean Grout
The bathroom is oftentimes one of the most dirty areas of the home. Not only does the tub need constant attention, but after a while you’ll notice that your bathroom tiles will stain due to soap scum.
The way to tackle the dirt on your bathroom tiles and especially along the grout lines is to use a bleach pen.
4. Stock Up On Furnace Filters
Your air conditioner may work fine now, but if you don’t regularly change the filters, it won’t forever.
You should change your AC filters every three months for optimum performance, although it won’t kill you if you do it every six months.
To save time and money, why not buy several air filters at one time? Remember, you’ll always need them.
5. Use Baking Soda For Tough Stains
If you find that our name-brand cleaners aren’t doing the job, try baking soda.
Not only is baking soda a key ingredient in many cleaners today, it’s sort of a secret weapon when it comes to getting entrenched stains out of different types of fabrics.
Final Words
The key to having a clean home is to not put off what you can do today for tomorrow. Small tasks can turn into mountains if you continue to delay.
Tackle the smaller tasks first, then graduate to the larger items on your list. If you keep at it, the job will be done in no time.
If you clean better with music, put on some headphones and get lost in tidying up your home.

Talk about too hot for TV: Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes recently filed a formal complaint against the show and Executive Producer Andy Cohen.
According to documents, which were filed on April 20, 2022, Leakes names NBCUniversal and production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original as defendants.
NeNe Leakes Alleges Systemic Racism In Lawsuit
A lot of the allegations go back to the initial seasons when Kim Zolciak-Biermann was a cast member on the show.
“From the day the series began filming, NeNe was the target of systemic racism from co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, which was tolerated by Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen and other executives,” Leakes’ attorney David deRubertis said in a written statement.
“The goals are to stop discriminating against black women,” Leakes told a TMZ reporter. “That’s the goal.”
Leakes said that she wanted to file the lawsuit a few years ago, but that she felt retaliated against.
Fam, we don’t know how this one is going to end up, but we know that Leakes has support from many of her friends.
