One of things that you want to check before your interview is your audio and video. For Zoom, many people get tripped up because they think that their mic is on, when in actuality it’s not.
Here’s how to tell if your mic is muted or not
If you see a red diagonal line over your mic icon, then you’re muted. That means the interviewer can’t hear your video.
Similarly, if you see a red diagonal line over your video icon, then you can’t be seen.
2. How Early Should You Be For A Zoom Interview?
The guidance on a video interview is that you want to be on time, but not necessarily early. The reason is because many interviewers are busy and likely won’t open the video portal until the appointed time.

If you want some general tips on how to prepare for a Zoom interview, here’s what to know.
- Set up your video in a secluded and quiet place in your home
- Make sure you have adequate lighting, but not too much light
- Check your internet connection for lags or interruptions
- Make sure your webcam shows clear and not grainy
- Dress professional and yes, wear pants

Atlanta is tops in the nation when it comes to ATM fees, according to a new study from BankRate.com. The study looked at metropolitan areas with the highest and lowest bank fees, including charges for insufficient funds.
Atlanta residents are getting hit with the highest fees for using out-of-network ATMs and also rank in the top 10 for highest overdrafts.
When it comes to combined ATM fees, the national average is $4.64, but Atlantans are paying $5.60. Meanwhile,
