Virtual Casting Call Being Held For NBC’s ‘The Voice’

The hit NBC The Voice is holding a virtual casting call to field contestants for the upcoming season. The singing competition show has been a ratings bananza for NBC since its debut. in 2011.

This time, because of the coronavirus pandemic long lines of hopeful singers will be replaced with an online system that allows you to log in and record a snippet from a song.

The Voice Casting Call: Here’s How To Audition

For the audition for The Voice, contestants should prepare to sing one verse and chorus of a single song. You will have 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) for your audition.

In that time period, producers want you to Introduce yourself, and state which song you’re going to sing, then sing your song. You can use an instrument, such as a guitar, a music track or sing a cappela.

The main thing is no matter what other instrumentation you use, you must be ready to go when you record.

What To Do When It’s Your Virtual Open Call Begins
