The Atlanta-based restaurant recently announced that its creative marketing chief, rapper and businessman 2Chainz, has tapped Brittany Renner to be the face of its “Side Chik Chicken Sandwich.”

Slabtown Public House is closing its doors after just six months in business, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Slabtown specialized in “casual pub food,” according to owner Kevin Gillespie, who is also founding chef of the Red Beard Restaurants Group.
Slabtown Public House Set To Close
Slabtown will reportedly shut down for good on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
Gillespie said that Slabtown just couldn’t be kept float, according to a statement obtained from the Chronicle.
“We have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Slabtown Public House permanently,” Gillespie said in the written statement. “The reality is that many small businesses have closed since 2020 either due directly or indirectly to the economic impacts of COVID-19; we are simply the latest to do so. In time we hope to be able to bring Atlanta new restaurants again.”
