Blackbird Restaurant Opens In Downtown Atlanta

Blackbird opened recently in downtown Atlanta to little fanfare but great reviews. The eatery is in the process of getting its liquor license but expectations are high.

The new Atlanta restaurant is opened by Asa Fain, who also owns the Murphy Park Fairgrounds as well as Apache Cafe.

Blackbird is located in the space formerly occupied by Studio 7 on Marietta Street.

The kitchen is helmed by Chef Matthew Jones, who was schooled in the culinary arts in Europe and worked at The Optimist in West Midtown.

As of right now, the new Atlanta restaurant is serving breakfast from Tuesdays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and lunch and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
