One reviewer says this about Chops: “The food was awesome! The service is very attentive without being overwhelming all the way from the host to waiters. Great ambience. It is important to point out that they’re two restaurants in one with one being on top of the other. I could myself upstairs searching for the rest of my dinner party when they were already downstairs. Upstairs has more of speak-easy vibes while downstairs (Lobster) is more focused on fine-dining.”

Kandi Burruss-Tucker, who has starred on the reality TV series The Real Housewives of Atlanta longer than any other cast member, says she won’t be returning to the show.
The news, delivered on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, sent shockwaves across social media. Speaking to Variety, Burruss broke the news that she won’t be returning to the Bravo show, which has made her a household name.
“I’ve already decided I’m not coming back this year,” she said. “It’s been 14 seasons. And they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, and during that time I’ve started working on a lot of other things and I’ve got some nice, big projects coming soon.”
Kandi Leaves RHOA, Throws Her Peach Away
How Long Has Kandi Burruss Been On RHOA?
Burruss has been a main cast member on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” since its second season, which premiered in 2009. As of 2024, she has been on the show for over 15 years.
Aside from a reality TV star, Burruss is a successful songwriter and entrepreneur.
She is perhaps most well-known American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She gained fame as a member of the R&B group Xscape in the 1990s.
Burruss is also known for her appearances on the reality television series “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” where she has been a main cast member since the second season. She has also ventured into business, including her own record label and a line of sex toys.
She said that she may come back to the show at some point, but “we’re still going to be doing things together,” referencing her deals with BRAVO and Viacom overall.
What’s next for Burruss? It’s too early to tell, but what we do know is that she has a growing online presence and has ventured into acting, plays and is a successful restaurateur.
Her Atlanta food business is one of the best celebrity restaurants in Atlanta.
As for other eateries below I-20, these Southside Atlanta restaurants have developed quite a following.
The craze hasn’t escaped metro Atlanta’s food and drink scene, which has seen a bar explosion in recent years.

You’ve got all the skills and expertise for the job, but you’re lacking a standout resume. We’ve all been there at one time or another. The hiring manager won’t give you the time of day without that piece of paper.
Writing a resume that stands out could actually be just as time-consuming as finding a job. But it’s also very important.
Here are some ways to write that resume that can get the attention of Atlanta’s top companies.
How to Write A Resume That Wins Over Atlanta Companies
Of course, you need a resume, but a lot of people fail to take advantage of a cover letter. The cover letter can steal attention by using powerful action words the employer is looking for.
Make sure you tailor your resume and cover letter to the specific job you apply for. Download this free resume template to see how it’s done.
Every good resume should have a number of key things in common.
- Keywords that match those in the job description
- Strong action words in the top third of the page to grab the recruiter’s attention
- Get it proofread by someone else before you submit
1. Make Sure Your Personal Information Is Accurate
There’s nothing worse than adding your name, address, phone number and email address to your email, but one of them is wrong.
It’s very important than you check that your means of communicating with the job is up to date. That’s the only way they’ll be able to contact you. That leads us to our next point…
2. Proofread Your Resume
So many people don’t bother to hire a proofreader to look over the sentence structure, grammar and punctuation of their resume.
Many recruiters and hiring managers will throw your resume in the trash, if they see errors, especially if it’s for a communications job.
3. Use Action Words
If you want to grab their attention, use action words to describe your abilities and skills. Don’t say “used” when you could say “utilized.” Don’t say “came up with” when you could say “devised” or “developed.” Action verbs make a big impact with the hiring manager.
4. Put The Important Stuff Up High
The recruiter is not going to wait for you to prove yourself by scanning your resume for important jobs, skills and qualifications. Those things such pop out to them because you’ve showed their importance by putting them up high.
A recruiter or hiring manager shouldn’t have to scan past the top-third of the page to see your best work. And that note…
5. Keep It To One Page
Many experts will tell you that having a two-page resume is not a problem, but here’s the truth Unless you’ve done some really amazing tasks and jobs that you feel the need to itemize, keep your resume to one page.
Remember, writing a resume involves a good deal of self-editing, so your ability to keep it to one sheet displays not only your ability to showcase only the very best of you, but also your respect for other people’s time.
