Award-winning music producer, acclaimed syndicated radio personality, and philanthropist, Frank Ski, has released Climate Change, a captivating nine-track ambient soundtrack inspired by The Frank Ski Kids Foundation’s (FSKF) unforgettable expeditions across the globe.
The first single to debut from his passion project “Amazon Sunrise (Lovely Day),” was released on Earth Day on his label, Future Sights and Sounds.“For 20 years now, I’ve been taking students worldwide to endangered locations impacted by climate change. During these expeditions, we study the negative effects of climate change on our planet and work through solutions to mitigate the dangers that impact these places. While these places are in peril, they are in many ways still breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable experiences,” shares Frank Ski.
He said that the compositions from Climate Change initially started as journal entries and recordings capturing the sights, smells, and sounds of each location.“The recordings were then turned into an artistic musical homage capturing these majestic places, not just visually, but also through the power of evocative sound.”
Climate Change lis a unique artistic endeavor that takes listeners on a 9-song captivating sonic voyage through diverse landscapes immersing you in the sights and sounds Frank encountered during these scientific expeditions.
The first single, Amazon Sunrise (Lovely Day) opens with the sweet sound of chirping birds captured in the Amazon Rainforest offering a glimpse into the project’s captivating soundscape. A modern interpretation of Bill Withers’ iconic 1977 classic, “Amazon Sunrise (Lovely Day),” is a sonic representation of the promise of a beautiful new day.
“One of The Frank Ski Kids Foundation’s first expeditions was to The Amazon Rainforest. I remember walking through the rainforest one morning with a cup of coffee, marveling at the sights, sounds, and smells of the jungle. As I looked up at the azure sky, the feeling of being there reminded me of a Bill Withers song, ‘Lovely Day,’ so I made a modern-day rendition of the song originally recorded by Withers in 1977.”
On each song, Frank Ski meticulously captures the essence of each visited country and region, documenting his experiences through music. The songs represent a deeply personal unique musical soundscape of his experiences, created with love, reverence, and appreciation for nature, the Earth, and its inhabitants.

A new traveling exhibition, “Sneaker Stories” presented by Modelo, will come to Atlanta’s Ponce City Market — and won’t want to miss it.
The event, which originated at the Miami Museum, will be in Georgia’s largest city for one weekend only, May 31 – June 2, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
This free experience will explore the historical ties and evolving relationship between graffiti art and sneaker culture through informative displays featuring rare sneakers and their corresponding art inspiration.
A first-of-its-kind contemporary art museum, Museum of Graffiti exhibits, educates and celebrates the thousands of graffiti artists who have transformed walls in public spaces into vibrant masterpieces.
With the “Sneaker Stories” pop-up, the Museum of Graffiti will bring its renowned unorthodox approach to urban art education to Atlanta. Presented as a faux sneaker store, this immersive museum experience will highlight the many seminal crossover collaborations between graffiti artists and global commercial brands like Nike, Adidas and Reebok.
Guests will be taken on a 20-year journey of collaboration that has seen sneakers transcend their original purpose to become integral to the fabric of urban culture and art. The exhibition will feature a selection of limited-edition sneakers displayed alongside their original artworks by artists including Futura, Cey Adams, Eric Haze, Claw Money and Faust, who have been tapped to create highly converted footwear that can sell on the secondary market for upwards of $20,000.
“Through ‘Sneaker Stories,’ we aim to celebrate the artists from the global graffiti art movement who have transitioned from the streets to appear inside the biggest companies in America, like Nike, Reebok and Adidas, and influenced countless others along the way,” says Alan Ket, co-founder of the Museum of Graffiti. “Thanks to our partnership with with Modelo, we’re able to bring this unique cultural exploration to Atlanta, inviting the community to uncover the stories behind the art and the artists who have routinely been stigmatized due to the negative connotations surrounding spray paint.”
Inside the pop-up, which will be located next to Nike at Ponce City Market, guests can also expect to find Museum of Graffiti’s world-class gift shop, packed with limited edition collectibles, rare books and apparel. At the complimentary sneaker customization bar, courtesy of Modelo, each pop-up visitor can also become a designer with colorful new laces, charms and buckle plates to personalize their own sneakers.
A panel discussion entitled “Fighting Spirit Stories” with Cey Adams, moderated by Atlanta’s own Dr. Dax, will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a limited edition print release and signing. Seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Getting a nice haircut can change your whole outlook on life for the short term. Instead of going to the barber, you can do it yourself at home. All you need are some good clippers.
If you’re looking for some durable and affordable hair clippers, here are some of the best ones for your money.
First of all, you need to know the top brands for clippers. They are:
- Wahl
- Oster
- Bevel
Best Hair Clippers For Your Money
There are others, but these are the best hair clippers your money can buy online. Many of them come with trimming sets, variations of blades and charging bases. Check them out:
1. Wahl Clipper Self-Cut Personal Haircutting Kit
Buy
Here’s what one reviewer says about these Wahl clippers: “OK my barber of many years retired, started cutting my own hair, used a cheap basic cutter now I have gotten good at it and more daring. Upgraded to this cutting system, great system with a world of difference, received a lot of compliments on my fade, highly recommend.”
2. Wahl Clipper Elite Pro High-Performance Home Haircut & Grooming Kit for Men
Buy
Here’s what one reviewer says about Wahl Clipper Elite Pro High-Performance Home Haircut: “f it matters, I cut my own hair, and have for as long as I can remember, so my feedback is from that context. I don’t cut anyone else’s hair, and I tend to cut more frequently (every 5-6 days) so that I only need minor touch-ups vs. having to commit to an entire cut.
Here’s what I like about these vs. cheaper sets I’ve used in the past:
1. Better/stronger motor. Part of why I replaced cheaper sets so often is b/c they’d eventually start pulling my hair, regardless of proper blade oiling and sharpening. I immediately felt a difference in how much smoother these cut, especially during faster movements.
2. Stronger, smoother closed & open guard adjustment – feels far more assured than what I’m used to on cheaper sets. No matter how small or large the adjustment, the gaurd stays in place once adjusted.
3. Woner Hair Trimmers Quiet Cordless Rechargeable Hair Clippers
Buy
Here’s what one reviewer says about Woner Hair Trimmers: “Came fully charged. Buzzed my own head. Works great and is pretty slick. Idk why a buzzer has to say “for men” like, it’s a buzzer, we get it.”
4. Remington HC5850 Haircut Kit & Beard Trimmer (15 pieces)
Here’s what one reviewer says about the Remington HC5850 Haircut Kit & Beard Trimmer (15 pieces): “I have used many clippers over the years. This is my favorite so far, its small, fits easily in my hand. It clips great, quickly. The sounds, oh way better than your average clipper, this is more of a humming, than the typical buzzing you hear. I trimmed my hair as well as facial hair with this. I used it with no guide just clipper without pulling, just clean clipping.”
5. GOOLEEN Cordless Hair Clippers for Men & Beard Trimmer Professional IPX7
Here’s what one reviewer says about the GOOLEEN Hair Clippers for Men: “I love this device. Currently preggo and it is so easy to use this. Hubz loves this too for his beard trimming. Has different length options settings on the device as well so that really helped.”
6. CEENWES Professional Hair Clippers Cordless Haircut Kit
Buy
Here’s what one reviewer says about the CEENWES Professional Hair Clippers Cordless Haircut Kit: “I ordered this clippers on Wednesday and got it on Thursday. They ship the product really fast.
The box design itself is pretty fancy and I like that there is a pocket coming in. And the functionality of the clipper is the best among the same prices.”7. MIGICSHOW Cordless Hair Clipper Waterproof Beard Trimmer
Buy
Here’s what one reviewer says about the MIGICSHOW Cordless Hair Clipper Waterproof Beard Trimmer: “This set of hair clippers has very good quality. Compared to my old set, the plastic is much better and durable. I am a person who cut my hair by myself and I need a great set of tool. This set is beyond my expectations: Easy to use and they are durable.”8. Liberex Cordless Hair Clippers & Grooming Set
Buy
Here’s what one reviewer says about the Liberex Cordless Hair Clippers & Grooming Set: “The best rechargeable hair clipper ever!
I buzz cut my own hair. This has power and sharp blades so I don’t have to move it slow. Charge overnight and it lasts for months (at least three) before needing a recharge.”9. Andis Professional T-Outliner Beard/Hair Trimmer with T-Blade
Buy
Here’s what one reviewer says about the Andis Professional T-Outliner Beard/Hair Trimmer with T-Blade: “
I’ve shaved my head with this without any problems and usually use it for body and facial grooming. My only issue is getting hair out the inside of the clippers, if you don’t get the hair that gets trapped inside out it gets hotter faster and alot of hair can get trapped inside believe me. The entire reason I bought this is because I damaged the wiring trying to clean my last Andis outliner. They get the job done no question but the trapped hair thing becomes a problem over time.”10. Wahl Clipper Compact Multi-Purpose Clipper
Here’s what one reviewer says about the Wahl Clipper Compact Multi-Purpose Clipper: “I am a big fan of these clippers. The plug in is the way to go. …. The variety of guide sizes is awesome. As long as you keep it clean with the cleaning brushes it comes with and oil the blades every 3-4 times or every other, I don’t see any reason why these won’t last for a long, long time. I like how everything fits in the case when I’m done grooming and put it away (just fold the cord back the way it comes).”

So you’ve bought a quality lacefront wig and it’s time to wash it. How do you clean it in a way that doesn’t damage the hair? Keep reading.
This article is going to go over some easy steps on how to wash a wig. This information comes from tried-and-true methods and years of dealing with wigs and losing money so I know what I’m talking about.
How To Wash A Wig In 7 Steps
- Here’s the first thing you need to do: Fill a bowl with cold water
- Add your wig shampoo of choice and stir it so that it mixes well
- Immerse the wig in the water and let it sit for 5 minutes
- With soft strokes, run your fingers through the hair strands. You can also gently use a comb
- Empty the bowl and refill it with water
- Add some conditioner to the wig and use a towel to dry it
- After that, just let it dry
When it is dry, make sure you detangle it with a comb. That way, styling the wig will be much easier.
Wash a Wig: 4 Easy Steps
Before washing, gently comb through the wig with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush to remove any tangles or knots. Start from the ends and work your way up to the roots to avoid damaging the fibers.
Where To Get Wig Shampoo
Here are some of the best brands of wig shampoo:
- Brandywine Synthetic Revitalizing Wig Conditioner – $21.97
- Awesome Synthetic Wig Shampoo [pH6] W/ Coconut Oil, 7 Ounce- $11.87
- DeMert Wig & Weave System Shampoo for Natural and Synthetic Hair 8 oz – $8.29
- Mara Ray Keratin Enriched Luxury 4oz Wig Shampoo – $9.95
Once you’ve purchased the wig shampoo, it’s time to use it.
Fill a basin or sink with lukewarm water. Avoid using hot water as it can damage synthetic fibers or loosen the adhesive on a lace front wig. Add a small amount of wig shampoo to the water and mix it in until it’s evenly distributed.
Submerge the wig in the water and gently swish it around. Avoid rubbing or twisting the wig, as this can cause tangling or damage. Let it soak for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean, lukewarm water until all the shampoo is removed.
Condition the Wig (Optional)
As an option, if your wig is made of human hair or a high-quality synthetic material, you can use a wig conditioner to help keep it soft and manageable.
Apply a small amount of conditioner to the wig, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends, and gently comb through with your fingers. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Dry and Style the Wig
Gently blot the wig with a towel to remove excess water. Avoid wringing or twisting the wig, as this can cause damage. Place the wig on a wig stand or a clean, dry towel to air dry. Avoid using a hairdryer or exposing the wig to direct heat, as this can damage the fibers.
Once the wig is completely dry, you can style it as desired using wig styling tools such as brushes, combs, or heat styling tools (if applicable). Make sure to use products specifically designed for wigs to avoid buildup or damage.
How Do You Maintain A Wig?
The key to maintaining a wig is to be gentle with it. Just like your real hair, a wig is made up of delicate hair follicles that break or can be damaged.
You should never wash your wig in hot water either, because that’s how you ruin it with heat. Natural virgin hair should be shampoo’ed gently, not roughly.
How Often Do You Wash A Wig?
The more you wear a wig, the more you’ll need to maintain it and wash it. If you wear your wig every day, then you should wash it about every fifth week.
But much of your wig’s care will depend on your activities. If you’re a waitress in a smokey bar or strip club, you might want to wash your wig much more frequently.
Final Word
After you’ve purchased a quality lace-front wig, you may be curious about how to take care of it. Washing your wig is one of the best ways to make it last.
After you spend your hard-earned money on a new lace front, wig care becomes very important. Anything less than regular maintenance is not acceptable.
If you do Zumba three times a week, you might want to wash your week on a weekly basis.
