Lost in the excellent performances of Donald Glover, Lakeith Stanfield and the other stars of the FX hit “Atlanta,” is the awesome music. Robbin’ Season is not only the sophomore campaign of the show, but the title of a soundtrack as good as any bangin’ album from city royalty like T.I., Gucci Mane or Migos.
Standout cuts include songs from various groups, all of them big fans of the show and its maestro, Glover, aka Childish Gambino.

When you think about it, much of “Atlanta” revolves around music. One of the main protagonists, Paper Boi, is a rapper. And Earn, his cohort, has taken on the mantle of trying to manage him and navigate the industry.

We told you about the recent opening of Chai-Yo, the Thai restaurant making a mighty name for itself in Buckhead.
Not only does the joint have to-die-for fare like “Plah Pla Meuk” a grilled marinated octopus in lime juice, Neau Panang and Khew Wan Kai, but it also has a pretty mean beverage program (Beverage programs are fancy terms for drink menus).
We’re giving you an assignment: Go to Chai-Yo and order the Nam Dok cocktail. The eatery recently posted about it on its Facebook page. Its comprised of Vodka, Falernum, Citrus, Butterfly Pea Flower.
The magic happens though when the bartender adds citrus. It changes to the color PURPLE.

One Music Fest, one of the largest musical events in the city, returns to Atlanta on September 8 and 9. That’s right, the event has expanded into two days.
Last year’s event at the Lakewood Amphitheatre was a success like no other, featuring some of the hottest acts in music. This year promises more of the same but doubled.
One Music Fest Adds Second Day, Returns To Atlanta In September 2018
On the event’s website, it says: “ONE Musicfest is back in 2018, and will be bigger and better than ever. We will have DOUBLE the artists this year, and are moving to a new in-town location to make room for more music lovers to enjoy our event.”
