After months of uncertainty, the Biden Administration has approved a third stimulus check for Americans hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
With unemployment set to expire for millions of people, it’s clear that Americans still need additional coronavirus relief. But you may be wondering if you qualify for stimulus payments.
Stimulus Check 101: 5 Things You Need To Know
This article is going to tell you who is eligible for the second stimulus check, which is expected to be rolled out later this year.
1. What’s Included In Second Stimulus Check?
Here is what Senate Republicans have included in the second stimulus check, which is part of the Cares Act 2. The following benefits have been finalized:
The new legislation gives $600 to most eligible Americans. Congress is specifically looking to help lower-income Americans who make less than $40,000 a year.
2. When Will I Get My $1.400 Stimulus Check?
The Treasury Department and IRS started sending stimulus money to Americans on December 29, 2020. In the best circumstances, it could have taken a day or two or up to two weeks to get your payments.
The IRS says there’s been a delay due to them sending the checks out to old account numbers and other technical problems. The agency says it should all be fixed now.
3. Who Qualifies For Third Stimulus Check?
Here’s who is eligible for the third stimulus check
- A third $1,400 payment would go to each eligible U.S. citizen who earns less than $75,000 a year ($150,000 for couples who file taxes jointly).
- Dependents could qualify for a second $1,400 stimulus payment, which doubles what they could receive in the first stimulus package.
4. How Will My Stimulus Check Come?
Your stimulus check will come in either of three forms: a paper check, via direct deposit or on a prepaid Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) card.
The IRS says EIP cards are being sent to Americans via mail.
5. Can I Track My Stimulus Check?
Like the last stimulus, you can track our stimulus. pretty easily. Although, the IRS has stated that they’ve had some technical issues on their website, it should work if you keep checking.
Here are two ways to track your stimulus money:

Did you get your last stimulus check? Because another one is on the way.
The Biden Administration’s nearly $2 trillion coronavirus relief plan has been approved. That means a third stimulus check is coming for most Americans.
The relief package being floated in government circles — the American Rescue Plan — includes stimulus money that can help needy Americans. The plan passed with zero Republican support, but because the Democrats were able to get a simple majority, we have a package.
But let’s get to the good stuff: When is your stimulus coming? We’re going to tell you that and more.
Third Round Of Stimulus Checks: Everything You Need To Know
Government cash has been distributed to Americans in waves since the coronavirus pandemic began last March. Not only is the money needed to shore up the economy, but regular Americans are struggling to find work as unemployment numbers start to creep up again.
It’s understandable that you’d have some questions about the new stimulus checks and we’re going to answer them. Here is everything we know about the third stimulus checks.
1. How Much Will The Third Stimulus Check Be?
Because the IRS and Treasury Department facilitated sending out the $600 at the beginning of the year, the third round of stimulus checks is for $1,400.
For those keeping score, that’s a total of $2,000 in government help, which many nations across the globe have committed to on a monthly basis.
2. When Will The Stimulus Checks Arrive?
While the political wrangling often takes days in Congress, the actual process of getting that money into the hands of Americans will be swift.
Hours after the relief package was approved by President Biden, the White House said it would be making its way to American bank accounts in days.
Of course, that won’t be the case with everybody. If may be months before the payments arrive, analysts say.
3. What’s Taking So Long?
The IRS has gone on record to say that their online systems have been overwhelmed when stimulus checks are involved. The truth is that for all Americans to get paid, it’s going to take some time.
Congress painstakingly approved a relief package in April 2020 that took weeks to go out. In the last week of the year, U.S. lawmakers freed up more than $900 billion for a stimulus package that gave each Americans $600, and that also took time for some U.S. citizens.
Final Thoughts
If you need help finding out what’s up with your money, go to IRS.gov, the official site of the Internal Revenue Service, and see if they can help you.
With many workers still preparing for layoffs, lawmakers are poised to approve more stimulus money down the road.

If you’re looking for some masks in Atlanta, you probably already know that supplies can be fluid. No matter if you want to buy surgical masks, N95 or KN95 masks, they can be found on the internet.
In this article, we’ll share some places where you can find masks online as well as local places where you can purchase masks to protect you against COVID-19.
As the pandemic continues to rage, the importance of wearing a mask has only grown. The result has been that store shelves have seldom been able to keep a steady surplus of masks. If you don’t want to make your own, what kind of mask should you buy?
What Kind Of Mask Should I Buy?
The basic functions of a mask are to stop droplets from entering your mouth and nose. But that can be hard to decipher when you’re looking for deals in-store or online.
When shopping for a mask, buy those that have at least two layers of fabric. What you don’t want is a mask that is too large or too small or doesn’t cover your nose and mouth.
For easy adjusting, the masks should loop around the ears or be able to be tied behind the head.
Do Cloth Masks Protect Me Against COVID?
Most health experts say that cloth masks work fine in preventing the spread of droplets from the wearer. According to the CDC, face masks are required in public settings during the pandemic.
Cloth masks also can help reduce the chance that you’ll infect others if you have the virus.
On the other hand, the gold standard for facial protection against COVID are N95 masks, according to health experts.
When shopping for a face mask, here are some do’s and don’ts you want to consider.
Do Don’t Wear Two Masks If Possible Wear Masks That Are Hard To Breathe Through Completely Cover Your Nose & Mouth Wear Masks With Exhalation Values Or Vents Make Sure It Fits Snug With No Gaps Wear Disposable Masks Over And Over Again These stores in your local area have N95 masks in stock as of this writing. The following retail stores don’t carry N95 masks but they do have varieties of surgical and cloth face masks for sale.
Where To Find N95 Masks Online
Unless you are a health professional, you likely won’t be needing to order N95 masks online. But if you’re a private citizen just trying to protect yourself by buying masks approved by either the CDC and the FDA, the internet’s the place.
Let’s look at some N95 masks you can purchase online.
N95MaskCo.com
The N95 mask distributor N95MaskCo.com sells several packs of respirator-level masks. A 5-pack for $49.99 is a top seller.
Bonafidemasks.com
At Bonafidemasks.com, you can buy from the largest authorized distributor of Powecom masks in the United States and Canada.
Amazon
This Kimberly-Clark N95 Pouch Respirator mask provides a minimum of 95% filtration efficiency of 0.3 micron particles; N95 NIOSH approved (TC# 84A-9042).
Home Depot
Home Depot, the world’s largest home improvement store, sells masks online as well as in-store. As an example, they currently have a 10-pack of KN95 masks for $23.
Conclusion
The CDC has advised wearing a cloth face covering for those out in public spaces, like grocery stores and pharmacies, where it could be hard to properly socially distance.
If you’re looking to source face masks, surgical masks, face shields and other PPE, these Georgia distributors have what you need.

It’s official: Atlanta, Georgia, will be the host city of the NBA All Star game on March 7, 2021. The NBA players union agreed to the date, making it a reality.
The event will be Atlanta’s first major sports event since the COVID-19 pandemic started.
More than a week ago, senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, tweeted that the NBA and The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) were in talks to still have an All-Star game.
When Will The 2021 NBA All-Star Game Be?
The players and the league had to get on the same page regarding a date and city that was mutually acceptable to both parties. As a result, they settled on the NBA All-Star game date of Sunday, March 7, 2021 in downtown Atlanta’s Philips Arena.
Back when it was still just an idea, NBA insiders opined that a city that was also a strong TV broadcasting mecca made sense.
“One site under discussion is Atlanta, home of Turner Sports. That idea includes providing support for HBCU’s and COVID-19 relief,” Wojnarowski tweeted.
The overall plan would incorporate several other pieces to support other Atlanta institutions that are suffering due to COVID-19.
“That idea includes providing support for HBCU’s and COVID-19 relief,” Woj said. Although other cities are thought to be in consideration, the longtime sports journalist only alluded to Georgia’s largest city.Atlanta, home of the league’s Hawks, has suffered like most sports cities as fan attendance has dramatically fallen and some venues have been repurposed to deal with hospital overflow.Any All Star game held in Atlanta would have to adhere to strict COVID protocols. One advantage the city has is that it is the home of Turner Sports, which has the primary TV contract with the league.
The NBA originally announced that there would postpone the All Star game for 2021:
“Public health conditions prevented the Pacers, the NBA All-Star Host Committee and the NBA from appropriately planning and executing fan-focused All-Star activities in Indianapolis that were envisioned for this February,” a league statement on Nov. 25 read, while announcing that Indianapolis would instead host the 2024 All-Star Game.
Then there are the logistical concerns posed by having such a large sporting event in the city, although Atlanta successfully hosted the SEC Championship a few months earlier.
When Is The Last Time Atlanta Hosted The NBA All-Star Game?
Only two times in the past 40+ years has the NBA All-Star Game been played in Atlanta. The first occurrence came in 1978 at The Omni coliseum. Years later, the game returned in 2003 at Philips Arena.
If the big game does return to the city, it would be held at State Farm Arena, which has been used a polling precinct most recently.
Back in 2003, the NBA’s biggest stars (Kobe, Lebron, Allen Iverson, etc.) converged on downtown Atlanta to have one of the largest and most congested events the city has ever had.
Here is some footage of the NBA All-Star game held in Atlanta in 2003:
