Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta continues to set the bar when it comes to world-class sports venues. The stadium has lowered prices on some select concessions, AtlantaFi has learned.
This is the second time over the course of a year that Mercedes-Benz Stadium has cut food prices.
In September 2018 just in time for the Atlanta Falcons football season, the stadium did price reductions on beverages and food. As a result, Mercedes-Benz Stadium has sparked a downward cost trend among the league.
How much does food cost at Mercedes-Benz Stadium?
The latest round of price cuts at MBS was announced in early March 2019. The stadium says that whole-dollar pricing reductions on premium items have been implemented. As a result, the savings are all one dollar each, amounting to 11% reduction in food prices. They are as follows:
- Hot Dog: $1.50 (was $2)
- Pretzel Bites: $4.50 (was $5)
- ATL Bud Burger: $7.50 (was $8)
- Ice Cream Waffle Cone: $4.50 (was $5)
- Chips and Salsa: $2.50 (was $3)
“Arthur Blank has repeatedly challenged us to find ways to lower prices again to further improve a food and beverage experience that already ranked number one in the NFL and MLS in our debut season,” said Steve Cannon, AMB Group CEO. “We’ve listened to our fans from the beginning and these new prices are a result of that feedback. Arthur is going to keep challenging us to go lower and we’re going to keep listening to the fans, so this is probably not the last one.”
Here is a chart to help you see Mercedes-Benz Stadium food prices

Stadium officials pride themselves on “fan first pricing,” which means that dining options have their most loyal customers in mind. As a result, from Blank on down, executives see the Mercedes-Benz Stadium food and beverage program as one of the amenities that enhance entertainment.
Listen to a stadium executive talk about what went into deciding Mercedes Benz-Stadium food prices:
