BUCKHEAD — The upscale dining scene in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood has a new Italian addition, though you might have missed the fanfare. This new Atlanta restaurant will quickly become a favorite. Keep reading to know why.
Y Bar e Ristorante opened this month in Buckhead Village at 3065 Peachtree Road NE, Suite B210, in the spaces previously occupied by Storico Vino and Pachengo. The launch was deliberately low-key: no ribbon-cutting, no splashy social media campaign, just doors opening after a quiet weekend. Owners say that was by design, noting that the best places are often found “on accident.”
Y Bar e Ristorante Opens in Buckhead Village
The restaurant, the latest from Y Hospitality, joins the group’s growing footprint in Buckhead Village, which already includes Yeppa & Co., Storico Fresco, Forza Storico, and Villa Yeppa. It draws inspiration from the cafés and bars of 1960s Italy, with a particular nod to Rimini on the Adriatic coast—hometown of founder Stephen Peterson’s mentor, Roberto, whose welcoming spirit shaped the concept.
Inside, guests will find a large U-shaped bar, antique furnishings sourced from Italy, vintage decor, family photographs, and sketches by filmmaker Federico Fellini. A covered patio and outdoor area evoke an Italian piazza, creating a relaxed gathering spot suited to the neighborhood’s mix of locals, shoppers, and diners along Peachtree Road.
