No restaurant in the Southeast is moving at the pace of Slutty Vegan right now. The plant-based restaurant is set to open another location in Athens, Georgia.

Owner Pinky Cole confirmed the news via social media recently as her “Sluttified” burgers continue to be the rage in metro Atlanta. “Wasn’t ready to post this just yet,” she posted on Facebook, “but since it’s going viral, here we are lol! Athens, Georgia !! Soon come!”

Slutty Vegan’s entry into the Athens-Clarke County market shows the strength of the three-year-old food business’s brand.

The new restaurant would be the second Slutty Vegan north of Atlanta, after the eatery’s Duluth location.

Cole’s meatless restaurants have been popular dining experience in metro Atlanta for three years now. In early 2019, she opened the company’s first standalone restaurant in Atlanta’s Westview neighborhood.
Since then she has expanded to other areas of metro Atlanta and brought food trucks to places like Birmingham, Alabama and Detroit, Michigan.

Final Word

The eatery has also grown a national following, thanks to Cole’s background in media and celebrity clientele and connections.

She has also brought pop-ups to other parts of the country, including Miami, Florida. But for now, she is concentrating on growing in metro Atlanta.

Plant-based fare is one of the healthiest things you can order on the menu, but it’s not all. If you want to enjoy the full metro Atlanta dining experience, you’ll need to expand your palette.

As for eateries below I-20, these Southside Atlanta restaurants have developed quite a following.
