Slim And Husky’s Pizza Beeria Opens In Atlanta

Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria recently opened its doors on Howell Mill Road in West Midtown Atlanta. The eatery’s grand opening was held Thursday, May 9, 2019.

Slim & Husky’s occupies the space formerly held by One Rooster. The new Atlanta restaurant comes to us from a group of businessmen who first opened a Slim & Husky’s in Nashville.

The Tennessee State University graduates started the fast casual, gourmet pizza joint as a way to serve unique pies and provide jobs.

What’s on the menu at Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria?

Slim & Husky’s has a number of tasty menu items with awesome names (and there’s an obvious appreciation for the Wu-Tang Clan). Here are some of the menu faves:

  • The Smokin’ Herb

  • Red Light Special

Spicy Red Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Heirloom Tomato Blend and Fresh Basil

  • P.R.E.A.M.

The White Sauce is Slammin, S+H House Cheese Blend, Spinach, Pepperoni, Pulled Italian Sausage, Mushrooms and Red Onions

Atlanta is having a restaurant renaissance. Hot chicken is the rage in Atlanta’s dining scene right now. But so are chicken and waffles.

Fast-casual is also the dining trend du jour around metro Atlanta restaurants. The concept involves mixing the quick accessibility of fast food with the casual dining experience. Food in Atlanta is also adapting to the various tastes of the migrants that come here to live.
