As his family continues to grow, NFL Hall of Famer Roland “Champ” Bailey is taking his talents elsewhere. Champ Bailey is selling his Sandy Springs mansion.

The property, located in an exclusive neighborhood, was previously listed for $2.99 million and will sell at a luxury auction with the help of Chrissy Neumann of Ansley Atlanta Real Estate.

Online bidding on the six-bedroom home is set to open February 22 and close February 28  with an Auction Reception held on February 21 at The Boca Raton Resort in Florida for interested bidders.

“We’ve had many priceless memories in our family home, but we have decided to move to accommodate our growing family,” stated Bailey. “I chose to partner with Concierge Auctions because they are the leading firm to sell ultra-luxe properties on an accelerated timeline, and I am confident their global database will identify the right buyer who will enjoy our home as much as we have. I look forward to the outcome of this auction.”

The home is located at 5635 Claire Rose Lane. It has a number of topnotch features including cathedral ceilings, seven fireplaces, wide plank hardwood floors, stonework, hand-carved millwork, wood ceiling beams, and French doors.

The home also has a chef’s kitchen, a master sanctuary with a balcony, hardwood ceiling beams, coffee bar, spa bath, chandelier, and stone shower; an elevator; large dining room; entertainer’s basement with wine cellar, media room, and custom sports bar; recreation room; home gym; massage room/spa; mudroom; and walk-up attic.
