Once again, Krystal is partnering with a celebrity influencer to sell its food.

The Atlanta-based restaurant recently announced that its creative marketing chief, rapper and businessman 2Chainz, has tapped Brittany Renner to be the face of its “Side Chik Chicken Sandwich.”

“At Krystal, we are here to disrupt the QSR landscape and are excited to be working with Brittany Renner as she has a pulse on the culture.” S2 Chainz said in a written statement. “We know everyone has a favorite already, so instead of fighting to be your go-to, we’re happy to be your little something on the side.”

In August 2022, Krystal tapped L.A.-based singer and reality TV star Ray J to push a campaign. The restaurant has made a big effort to appeal to a younger generation and Renner’s inclusion is another step toward that.

What’s On Krystal’s Side Chik Sandwich?

Krystal’s Side Chik Sandwich is one of the most creative things on the menu. Along with premium white meat, here’s what you’ll get when you order one:

  • BBQ Bacon Cheese with crispy smoked bacon and tangy BBQ
  • Pimento Cheese
  • Classic featuring a slather of Duke’s Mayo and pickle

When it comes to breakfast, the Side Chik is available in Classic and Pimento Cheese on a biscuit.

“I’m real, I’m honest, and I’m funny. So I was happy to partner with Krystal since they’re a brand  willing to be all those same things.”  Renner said in a statement. “We are combining food, fun and culture into one big moment for this staple establishment. Get ready for some surprises!”
