We hope things can be worked out, but Atlanta rapper and entrepreneur Jeezy has filed for divorce from Jeannie Mai, his wife of two years.
The marital split comes two years after the couple wed in their Atlanta mansion, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Mai, a TV host and media personality, is best known for her work on the shows The Real and How Do I Look?
Jeezy, real name Jay Jenkins, filed for divorce in Fulton County Superior Court, according to the AJC.
Two two have reportedly separated and their is a prenuptial agreement in place.
In January 2022, the couple welcomed their first and only child into the world.
“I asked God for a life of love and happiness. He sent me my family,” Jeannie Mai wrote as she announced the arrival of her baby on social media.
A year earlier, she celebrated the couple’s one-year anniversary, saying on Instagram, “It’s not about finding someone who’s perfect. It’s about finding someone who can match your level of commitment- not just to the relationship, but the commitment to heal themselves to love stronger and live happier forever.”
