Kandi Burruss is pushing back after her ex-husband, Todd Tucker, publicly discussed their intimate life while promoting a new project.
In a trailer for his upcoming film ’Til Divorce Do Us Part, Tucker is asked by fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Peter Thomas whether he and Burruss had threesomes during their marriage. Tucker replies, “We did. I would say most of our marriage we did.”
Kandi Burruss Speaks Out on Todd
Burruss, who was married to Tucker from 2014 until their split was announced in November 2025, responded in a statement to People. She did not dwell on the claim itself. Instead, she focused on the decision to make it public.
“A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” Burruss said. “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that—private. His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”
That last line is also the title of Burruss’s one-woman show, which she has used to tell her side of the marriage and its end.
The couple’s 11-year marriage was often discussed on RHOA, including their sex life. Burruss has previously acknowledged that they sometimes brought other people into the bedroom, while describing it as occasional rather than a constant feature of the marriage. Tucker’s trailer comment frames it as something that happened for “most” of their time together. The current fight is less about whether anything consensual happened and more about who gets to talk about it after the divorce.

Burruss announced the split in November 2025, saying the decision came after “deep thought and a lot of prayer” and that her focus was on protecting her peace, being a mother, and co-parenting with respect. The divorce was later finalized. Tucker has said ’Til Divorce Do Us Part is, in part, a response to Burruss’s public account of the breakup.
Her new statement draws a hard line: private marital intimacy stays private, even after the marriage ends. In her view, Tucker’s comments are not candor. They are publicity. And they have only reinforced the conclusion she already reached: the marriage is over, and she is done.
