Georgia opened the season with a 48-7 thrashing of Tennessee-Martin at home in Sanford Stadium. Although the Bulldogs only scored 17 in the first half, they poured it on in the second.

Week 2: Georgia 45, Ball State 3

On Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, Georgia handily beat the Ball State Cardinals 45-3. The Dawgs scored 31 points in the first half and another 17 in the third quarter.

Week 4: Georgia 49, UAB 21

On a beautiful Saturday evening in Athens, Georgia ran through the UAB Blazers 49-21 to remain undefeated. the Bulldogs could only muster 7 points in the first quarter, but blew the doors off the game with a 21-point second quarter before pouring it on in the second half.

Week 5: Georgia 27, Auburn 20

The Georgia Bulldogs beat the Auburn Tigers 27-20 on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. Although the Dawgs’ offense didn’t produce much, Coach Kirby Smart relied on a stout second-half defense to lock in the win.

Week 6: UGA 51, Kentucky 13

Georgia looked good in all phases on Saturday night. Quarterback Carson Beck threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns as the Dawgs raced to a 34-7 halftime lead.

Week 7: Georgia 37, Vandy 20

Georgia whipped Vanderbilt 37-20 on Oct. 14, 2023 but lost tight end Brock Bowers to an ankle injury.

After the game, Georgia Coach Kirby Smart said that X-rays were negative on Bowers’ injury, but that he would have an MRI done as well.

SEC Championship Game: Georgia 24, Alabama 27

he Georgia Bulldogs lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide 27-24 on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 in a showdown between the best teams in the SEC.

The Dawgs, which saw their 29-game win streak end, pulled up just short in their bid to win a third straight SEC Championship and national title after playing from a 10-point lead for most of the second half.
