A new hotel concept is set to join Midtown Atlanta’s dazzling skyline this week. Epicurean Atlanta will begin serving guests on Thursday, September 16, 2021, the eatery said in a news release.
The new food and wine-centric hotel constitutes one of a trio of new towers at 1105 West Peachtree. The Selig Development property includes a 31-story office tower and the luxury 64-unit condo tower all connected by a Sky Terrace.

“It is my great privilege to officially invite guests and locals alike to experience Epicurean Atlanta. Our dynamic team joins an already impressive lineup of design, arts and culinary superstars in Midtown,” Mainsail Lodging & Development president and founder Joe Collier says in a statement. “It is our hope that Epicurean Atlanta provides the kind of unique and superior culturally-enriching adventure of the senses that patrons of the city have become accustomed to.”
Epicurean Atlanta will be an upscale hotel featuring a top-notch restaurant and fun every bit as hip and accessible as the city’s contemporary vibe.
The Epicurean Theatre will allow guests to venture through an educational experience to watch, learn, experience, and create with award-winning chefs, star mixologists, buzzworthy winemakers and talented artists to bring the culinary experience to life.
This will be the second location for the Epicurean brand, which first opened in Tampa, Florida.
The company started in 1956 by husband-and-wife restaurateurs Bern and Gert Laxer. Their son David now holds the reins, including the deliciously elegant Bern’s Steak House.
Epicurean Atlanta promises to be more of the same, a lodging that boasts a fully-immersive experience that celebrates the teaching of its namesake, Epicurus.
