The wait is finally over. The Dwarf House, known as the restaurant that popularized the Chick-ful-A menu, is open after a massive renovation.
The nine-month project shut down the Hapeville restaurant, but things are rolling again after the eatery opened its doors on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022.

Chick-fil-A grand openings usually include offers of free food for early arriving customers, but not this time.
This go around, The Dwarf House gifted 100 local Hapeville heroes with free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich meals for a year.
Chick-fil-A also made a $25,000 donation to Feeding America.
Businessman Truett Cathy first opened The Dwarf House restaurant in 1946, slowly building it into a fast-food powerhouse.
“It was in this restaurant that Cathy first invented the boneless chicken sandwich and asked his customers to taste test it for him until he perfected the recipe in 1964,” according to Chick-fil-A’s website.
Chick-Fil-A’s claim to fame is its chicken biscuit. The biscuit has 440 calories with the calorie breakdown being 48 grams of carbs, 16g of protein and 20g of fat, according to the eatery.
