If you’re looking for a citrus-y drink to get your engines revved juuuuust enough, then you’ll like what The Pinewood in Decatur is cooking up. The Decatur spot has quickly become known for its drinks, courtesy of its Whiskey Wednesday promotion.
But I “digest”: What we want to talk about this week is The Pinewood’s “Lady James,” a mix of vodka, elderflower, rosemary, lemon, and blanc de blancs.
This drink goes down smooth and is a perfect compliment to the indulges on the food side. Try it with the Anaheim Chicken Sandwich (toasted ciabatta, anaheim pepper, red onion, artisan lettuce, tomato, cheddar, remoulade) or the Ritz Cracker Crusted Chicken Breast (mashed potato, green beans, crystal gravy).
