    The Motherland is coming to Peachtree! On Friday, August 24 and Saturday, August 25, the 2018 Ghana Property & Lifestyle Expo will be held in Buckhead.

    The expo will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both days.

    The two-day event is set to take place at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta located at 3300 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30305.

    This is a free event that will include networking and lectures on how to invest globally.

    Whether you are looking for a new investment opportunities, holiday or personal home, this Expo is not to be missed.

  • Bronner Brothers Hair Show This Weekend In Atlanta

    The Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show is set for Friday, August 4-6 in downtown Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center.

    The annual event will feature more than 100 classes, over 300 exhibitors, 10 special events, five main stage competitions and much more.

    There will be two nights of comedy and concerts, top-notch beauty instructions and more.

    The show traces its roots to 1947, when Dr. Nathaniel H. Bronner Sr. and Arthur E. Bronner Sr. (the original Bronner Brothers) with the assistance of their sister, Emma Bronner, began teaching cosmetologists at the Butler Street YMCA in Atlanta. Soon the event expanded and became an international event.

Turn Right on Northside Drive At the bottom of the hill, GWCC Building C is located on your right after you pass the Georgia Dome. Covered parking is available in the Gold Deck located on your right between the Dome and Building C. Surface parking is available in the Blue and Yellow lots on Northside Drive across from Building C.

    FROM THE NORTH:

    I-75/85 SOUTH

    Take I-75/85 South to Williams Street (Exit 249C). (The exit ramp becomes Williams Street.) Turn RIGHT at the first light onto Ivan Allen, Jr. Blvd. Stay on Ivan Allen. It will take you to Northside Drive. Building C will be on your left once you reach Northside Drive. Surface parking is available in the Yellow lot on the RIGHT on Ivan Allen Blvd. and in the Blue lot on Northside Drive across from Building C. (Turn LEFT onto Northside Drive and Blue lot will be on your RIGHT.) Covered parking is available in the Gold Deck on Northside Drive. (Turn LEFT onto Northside Drive and the Gold Deck will be on your LEFT between Building C and the Georgia Dome.)

    FROM THE EAST:

    I-20 EAST

    Take I-20 East to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn LEFT onto Spring Street then LEFT onto Mitchell St.  At the bottom of the hill, turn RIGHT onto Northside Drive. GWCC Building C is located on your right after you pass the Georgia Dome. Covered parking is available in the Gold Deck located on your right between the Dome and Building C. Surface parking is available in the Blue and Yellow lots on Northside Drive across from Building C.

    Columbia Residential in partnership with Variety the Children’s Charity will present it’s Fourth Annual Back School Bash, taking place at Carver High School, 55 McDonough Blvd SE, Atlanta, GA 30315, on July 28, 2018 from 11:00AM-1:00PM EST. The event features a back pack and school supply giveaway with food, music, activities, entertainment, prize giveaways, and resources. This year’s event will have a carnival/fair theme.

    Columbia Residential is proud to host it’s annual Back to School Bash at Carver High School for the second year. The Back to School Bash will provide anywhere from 1,000-1,200 back packs and school supplies for students in grades k-12. Several local businesses and organizations will come together for a philanthropic opportunity to give back to school age children, as they return to school. Parents/Guardians and children will get the opportunity to engage with local community partners and have access to several resources.

    In addition, the event will provide food, music, activities, entertainment, and prize giveaways for all attendees. This event helps local businesses and organization to connect with over 1,200 families and shows their support for the local community and children. Community partners and sponsors are also promoted during the event, marketing materials, social media, and press.

    The Back to School Bash is free and open to the public. All attendees are encouraged to pre-register, however, on-site registrations and walk-ups are allowed. Children are required to be in attendance in order to receive school supplies. The event is first come, first serve while supplies last.

    Google Brings Pop-Up Mini-Golf Course To Beltline

    Google is bringing a pop-up mini golf course to the BeltLine from Thursday, July 26 to Sunday, July 29., AtlantaFi has learned.

    The golf course, which will be partially interactive and voice-activated like Google Home, will be free and open to the public. All players will have to do is use Google Home’s voice assistant to help them maneuver around the course and its obstacles.

    The course will be located at Common Ground at the BeltLine’s Eastside Trail (550 Somerset Terrace NE) near Old Fourth Ward and Little Five Points.
