A tailgate of epic proportions is happening this weekend before the Georgia-Alabama game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta.

Location: 61 Elliott St SW, Atlanta Ga 30313 (see map below) 1.5 blocks from the stadium.

    Date/Time: 11:30 am – 3:30 pm Saturday, December 1st

What’s included: Food provided by Williamson Bros BBQ. Open Bar (Beer/Liquor/Wine). TV entertainment provided by Tailgatehouse. Live music.

Benefitting Charities: The Jardina Foundation will be the Principal Recipient of funds raised as a result of this event. On average $25 from each ticket will go towards funding the event with the remainder of the ticket price going towards the better cause. The money raised for the Jardina Foundation will directly support and develop programs in underserved Atlanta communities that enhance lives through physical activity.

Please visit thier website to find out more about their incredible story: http://www.majardina.org/

Additionally, in an effort to drive some good ole fashioned fun between the 2 schools we will hold a fundraising contest through our event ticketing page. The result of the contest will see donations made to a charity associated with both the University of Georgia and University of Alabama respectively. However, the school that is able to generate the largest attendance/amount of funds raised will receive the bigger donation. Below you will have the option to buy a General Admission (UGA) or General Admission (Alabama) ticket, and the fan base that show’s the most support for their school will earn the larger check. Please see details below for the 2 charities we will support from both school’s:

University of Georgia – Heads up 4 Harry (HU4H): The HU4H Foundationfocuses on supporting and raising awareness for victims (both children & young adults) suffering from mental illness.

University of Alabama – Nick’s Kids Foundation: The Nick’s Kids Foundation promote’s and support’s children, family, teacher, and student causes throughout the State of Alabama.

TEDxCentennialParkWomen will celebrate how these dynamic and diverse people are showing up to face challenges head on, all while empowering each other to shape the future we all want to see. We’re showing up for 2018.

TEDxCentennialParkWomen brings together a global community of people interested in exploring how change begins: with innovative thinkers who catalyze ideas toward action. Over the past few years, TEDWomen and TEDxCentennialParkWomen have launched some powerful ideas into the world.
