Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria recently opened its doors on Howell Mill Road in West Midtown Atlanta. The eatery’s grand opening was held Thursday, May 9, 2019.
Slim & Husky’s occupies the space formerly held by One Rooster. The new Atlanta restaurant comes to us from a group of businessmen who first opened a Slim & Husky’s in Nashville.
The Tennessee State University graduates started the fast casual, gourmet pizza joint as a way to serve unique pies and provide jobs.

The husband and wife owned eatery HobNob Neighborhood Tavern is opening another location in metro Atlanta. The newest spot will be in Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta.
The new HobNob eatery is set to open its doors in fall 2019.
HobNob has three other locations in the city, one in Brookhaven, Dunwoody and the other off Piedmont in Midtown, the original eatery.
The restaurant’s website describes it as “a ‘spirited’ place, featuring one of the largest collections of bourbon and whiskey in the Southeast. Fine Southern additions to the menu of refined tavern fare combined with sincere and friendly service make visiting this community-driven establishment a must for both weekday revelers and weekend warriors.”

Almost a year after shutting its doors, the newly renovated and relocated Colony Square Chick-fil-A reopened on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Midtown Atlanta.
The restaurant above The Grove boasts Chick-Fil-A’s newest designs, featuring digital menu boards, a patio area and premium finishes throughout.

Ponko Chicken recently had a soft opening in Midtown Atlanta, AtlantaFi.com has learned. This is Ponko Chicken’s second location in metro Atlanta.
The new Atlanta restaurant will have their official grand opening on Friday, May 3, 2019. The event will have live music, giveaways, free samples and more.
Ponko Chicken’s original location is in Chamblee. Now the new spot is serving lunch and dinner.

Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails in North Fulton is serving a feast on the last weekend of the month. The Alpharetta restaurant is having its 2019 Farmyard Chowdown Festival on Sunday April 28, 219.
The food fiesta will take place in Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails back yard.

A new Atlanta restaurant is set to open its doors in late April 2019. The Select, a restaurant and bar from the team behind Paces and Vine, is located in the City Springs development in the city’s downtown.
The minds behind The Select are Dave Green and David Lester, best known for their Vinings’ restaurant Paces & Vine.

The Select is a 1920s-inspired restaurant and bar that gets its name from aris’ famed Le Select. The restaurant will feature light and contemporary fare in a relaxed atmosphere.
The kitchen will be run by Executive Chef Matt Rainey, a Georgia native who most recently helmed the eats at Rococo Steak and Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant in Tampa, Florida.
What’s on the menu at The Select?
The restaurant will feature daily dinner and late-night small plates inspired by American and European cuisine, alongside seasonal craft cocktails, local beer on draft.
The wine program will feature around 60 bottles and more than 30 options of wine by the glass.
