If you’ve got a set of wheels, Oprah Winfrey may have a job for you. The media mogul’s new TV show is looking for people with cars from the last 20 years or so.
This is what the casting call says:
- We are looking for people who have vehicles that are in good condition (because they are supposed to look current to the time period), that are 1998 or older. I will even take late 1980’s vehicles. Again, they need to be in nicer newer condition.
- The series centers around the love story between a modern-day power couple. In the world of Black Hollywood, they navigate a complex set of social codes, and this series will explore it all, from the good to the bad and to the ‘90s when the love story began.
Weaver will play Nuri, a bubbly personality with big dreams who is struggling to make a name for herself as a sitcom staff writer while struggling an assortment of romances that only leave her party fulfilled. After she meets Yasir, himself unemployed and barely holding onto his dreams, Nuri changes all her opinions about what she expects from a man because she’s just found the one who is perfect for her.
Yasir is an aspiring writer-director who is down to his last two unemployment checks and lives (unhappily) with his on-again/off-again ex. But after meeting the stunning Nuri, Yasir finds a reason to alter his life and the drive to access his potential.

One of Atlanta’s most famous personalities, radio host Ryan Cameron is leaving the airways to start on the ground level of his own branding agency as partner. In an emotional show Friday morning, Cameron recounted how he started at the station more than 18 years ago as an intern then slowly moved up from overnights to daytime to mornings.
He said that his big break came when he was called to do a radio gig for “The Hunt For Red October” starring Sean Connery. That assignment, which he got after the previous host was fired due to a drug problem, changed his life.

We all know Sheree Whitfield is an expert in branding, from her She By Sheree outfit to her mansion in Sandy Springs, she knows how to get the juice out of the moment.
She’s back on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” for the 200th episode after taking a hiatus a couple of seasons ago. Ironically, that’s when she uttered the most-repeated phrase of the whole RHOA franchise.
Here is that moment and how it has taken on a life of its own.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes is in the news again, this time for sharing her thoughts on the cast and who needs to be gone.
“If I had it my way, I would get rid of two girls,” Leakes told TooFab. Everyone who watches the show knows that she and Porsha Williams have been at odds since the start of Season 10.
“In my opinion, yes — the cast should be changed up a bit,” NeNe told TooFab in a recent interview. “If I had it my way, I would get rid of two girls and bring in two new ones for excitement. You know, after a while with some of the girls, they just don’t have anything going on exciting enough to be a main cast member.”
“But I better keep who I think should go to myself because the moment I say anything, all hell breaks loose,” she said.
She’s right. We’ll see how this goes over with the rest of the cast members.

The Atlanta-filmed paranormal series “Stranger Things 3” is going to be available for streaming on July 4, 2019, according to Netflix.
The trailer for the Netflix hit “Stranger Things 3” was released in December 2018, giving us the shock and awe we’ve grown accustomed to with the series. Atlanta has been a central filming location for the epic show, now in its third season.
Shots of Gwinnett Place Mall can be seen in the “Stranger Things 3” trailer, and their are other shots that hometown Atlantans might recognize.

If you’re new to the “Stranger Things” realm, unorthodox things have been taking place in little Hawkins, Indiana, which is set in 1984.
For the new season, the producers are going to move things along quite a bit, maturing the storylines as the kids get older. The Duffer Brothers told The Hollywood Reporter this tidbit:
“Our kids are aging. We can only write and produce the show so fast. They’re going to be almost a year older by the time we start shooting season three. It provides certain challenges. You can’t start right after season two ended. It forces you to do a time jump. But what I like is that it makes you evolve the show. It forces the show to evolve and change, because the kids are changing.”
Netflix has scheduled its release in the summer of 2019, the better to enamor young and idle minds out from school.
The series stars the following actors:
- Winona Ryder.
- David Harbour.
- Finn Wolfhard.
- Millie Bobby Brown.
- Gaten Matarazzo.
- Caleb McLaughlin.
- Natalia Dyer.
- Charlie Heaton.
