“When we started the festival, it was meant as a platform for alternative black talent and to grow an audience we felt did not understand festival culture and therefore wouldn’t pay for it,” co-founder Matthew Morgan told Billboard.com in 2015.

Afropunk Atlanta has been a labor of love as well for Morgan. “We put a lot in by supporting the community for 10 years, so to have the community turn around and support the event, we were extremely happy about that.”

Is That A Ram? Falcons Troll The Saints In New Video

    2 Min Read

The new Atlanta Falcons did an epic troll of the New Orleans Saints on the day 2019 NFL schedules were released. The Falcons produced a video that shows a ram running over a saint.

The video animation shows the Falcons 2019 opponents arriving in Atlanta and Mercedes-Benz Stadium downtown. The action takes place at the 40 second mark.

Video: Watch the Falcons troll the Saints

The squad will begin their third campaign in the still-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where they look to be playing at home during the Super Bowl.

In the playoffs last year, the Saints were famously stiffed by the referees during a last-game call against the Rams that was clearly pass interference.

But there’s no love lost from Atlanta fans. The Saints were the loudest when the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl a few years back.

New Orleans and Atlanta make up one of the fiercest rivalries in all of football. For decades, both teams have traded seasons in the NFL’s cellar, but over the last decade both squads have fielded winning teams annually.

This season figures to be no different. See the 2019 Atlanta Falcons schedule here.

The Atlanta Falcons 2019 Football Schedule will be a real test for the Birds, especially at home. This is already one of the toughest NFL schedules for 2019.
