Marvel Studios has changed the name of the new Captain America movie and given fans a first look on the set.

The film, originally called Captain America: New World Order, has now been retitled Captain America: Brave New World.

Marvel also released the first image from the set, which shows Anthony Mackie alongside Harrison Ford.

Who Does Harrison Ford Play In Captain America: New World Order?

In Captain America: New World Order, Ford plays Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, taking over for the original actor, William Hurt, who passed away in 2022.

The movie, which is projected to be yet another blockbuster for Marvel Studios, stars Mackie (Sam Wilson) in the title role. Mackie first appeared in the Captain America movies starring Chris Evans and then moved into supporting action scenes in the Avengers movie.

With the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Mackie ended up hoisting the star-specked shield of Captain America.

What Will The Plot Of Captain America: New World Order Be?

The plot of the new Captain America movie will center on Sam Wilson as he tries to navigate being the Captain America and what it entails. You can expect the story to touch on patriotism, race and some dastardly super villains.

The new Captain America film will be a major piece of the MCU’s Phase five of movie production schedule.
