Filming Locations: Where Has The Big Door Prize Filmed In Georgia?

The Big Door Prize has filmed in Atlanta, Winder, and Loganville to name a few.

What Is The Big Door Prize About?

The Big Door Prize chronicles life in a small town when a majestic machine appears at a local grocery store and strange things start to happen. The inspiration for the series is very similar to the Zoltar machine in the movie Big.

The Zoltar machine in the Big movie never actually worked — it was a film prop, but it’s popularity took on a life of its town.

The name Zoltan might be derived from the 18th century term Sultan, according to some sources.
