Atlanta’s Virginia-Highland area has a new restaurant for tapas, tacos and Tequila: Bar.bacoa. This new Atlanta restaurant features Caribbean and Latin American-inspired cuisine.

The masterminds behind Bar.bacoa are James Rangel and Scott Switzer (Taco Cowboy). With Bar.cacoa, the duo are focused on tropical dishes with fresh ingredients, which is sorely needed in Midtown Atlanta.

One of the cool things about Bar.bacoa is that they have alcoholic drinks named after popular movies. The Italian Job (NB Gin Negroni with Campari and Sweet Vermouth) and The Dude (Cutwater Horchata Vodka White Russian with Belle Isle Coffee and Ice Cream.) “Tropic Thunder” is another one:)
