Kandi Burruss-Tucker, who has starred on the reality TV series The Real Housewives of Atlanta longer than any other cast member, says she won’t be returning to the show.
The news, delivered on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, sent shockwaves across social media. Speaking to Variety, Burruss broke the news that she won’t be returning to the Bravo show, which has made her a household name.
“I’ve already decided I’m not coming back this year,” she said. “It’s been 14 seasons. And they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, and during that time I’ve started working on a lot of other things and I’ve got some nice, big projects coming soon.”

How Long Has Kandi Burruss Been On RHOA?
Burruss has been a main cast member on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” since its second season, which premiered in 2009. As of 2024, she has been on the show for over 15 years.
Aside from a reality TV star, Burruss is a successful songwriter and entrepreneur.
She is perhaps most well-known American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She gained fame as a member of the R&B group Xscape in the 1990s.
Burruss is also known for her appearances on the reality television series “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” where she has been a main cast member since the second season. She has also ventured into business, including her own record label and a line of sex toys.
She said that she may come back to the show at some point, but “we’re still going to be doing things together,” referencing her deals with BRAVO and Viacom overall.
What’s next for Burruss? It’s too early to tell, but what we do know is that she has a growing online presence and has ventured into acting, plays and is a successful restaurateur.

Six Feet Under Pub and Fish House, the most important seafood eatery on Atlanta’s eastside has opened a location in Buckhead.
The new Atlanta restaurant, which is housed in the former space of the ROXX Tavern, is actually a relocation. The original 6 Feet Under was on 11th Street just off Northside Drive and has now closed.
When it comes to seafood restaurants in Atlanta, Six Feet Under is underrated by many foodies. Just give this new location time and it will be one of the best places to eat in Buckhead (mark my words).
Is Six Feet Under Worth It?
Six Feet Under in Grant Park has been serving customers for decades now and there’s a good reason why: The food is good.
Here’s what one customer said about Six Feet Under recently: “This was my first visit to Six Feet Under, and I couldn’t help but chuckle at the irony of its location right in front of a graveyard! In all seriousness, the food was quite enjoyable. I particularly loved the flavors, and their homemade lemonade is absolutely delicious! The service was exceptionally friendly, and I’ll certainly be returning in the future.”
Here’s what another said about the new Six Feet Under in Buckhead. “I’ve been to the other location but this one is just as good as well! Service is amazing and the food quality is the same. Great portion sizes with meals, I usually get one of the baskets and it never disappoints.”
What’s On The Menu At Six Feet Under?
Six Feet Under’s menu features an assortment of seafood, from appetizers like Fried Calamari and Spicy Rat Toes: spicy baked jalapenos stuffed with shrimp and wrapped with crispy bacon; salads Cajun Shrimp Salad, soups like Fish Stew and platters. My favorite is the Fried Seafood Platter and the Blackened Shrimp ‘N Grits Platter.

Atlanta iconic rapper and flutist Andre 3000 is performing a series of shows in his hometown of Atlanta as part of a new U.S. tour, New Blue Sun Live. The former Outkast frontman will be joined on stage by musicians Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, and Deantoni Parks.

André 3000 To Perform 4 Shows In Atlanta
Posting on his Instagram, André 3000 announced that he’ll be performing at Atlanta’s Variety’s Playhouse on Feb. 27-29.
He’ll then perform at Center Stage Theater on March 2. He will perform his new album, New Blue Sun, which is a flute album.
