Rreal Tacos To Expand Across Metro Atlanta

Gwinnett County
“In Atlanta if you want real, authentic Mexico City tacos, you go to Buford Highway, but it’s not a date night kind of place,” Damian Otero, who co-owns Real Tacos with Miguel Hernandez, says in a news release. “Conversely, if you want something upscale with great drinks, it’s a mammoth restaurant with ‘Americanized’ food. We have created a niche intersecting the two.”
The owners have leaned into making authentic Mexican street food with Rreal Tacos, sourcing their taco ingredients from various regions of Mexico using fresh — never frozen — meat marinated for over 12 hours for dishes such as asada from northeastern Monterrey, birria barbacoa from Guadalajara, or taco al pastor, one of Mexico City’s signature tacos.

Atlanta is having a restaurant renaissance. Hot chicken is the rage in Atlanta’s dining scene right now. But so are chicken and waffles.
Authenticity is the word of the day in Atlanta’s dining scene. The concept encompasses not only the ingredients, but who’s helming the kitchen and the service provided as well.
The city has some good restaurants in each quadrant of the city: East, West, North, South. All you need to do is think about what you have a taste for. Italian? Soul food? Tex-Mex? Atlanta has it all.

Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar Introduces Holiday Pop-Up
“The bar will be transformed into an autumn wonderland, as seasonal florals will adorn the bar alongside Chinese lanterns, orange lilies and colorful leaves. The Thanksgiving Pop-Up will be serving up cups of cheer featuring several delicious Thanksgiving libations,” according to a news release.
You may be wondering what customers have to say about Drift Fish House. Here’s one Google review: ”
“Stumbled upon this gem while shopping in the area. Wonderful ambiance, nicely decorated casual but with an upscale flair. Food tastes amazing! The scallops & pork belly dish was very flavorful and the portion was just right. I’ve had salmon prepared dozens of different ways in different restaurants all over the world, this is definitely one of if not my favorite. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.”

For the record, DriftFishHouse & Oyster Bar will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Chick-fil-A is currently testing bone-in chicken wings in metro Atlanta in a trial that began Oct. 31. Aside from having a secret menu, the popular Atlanta-based chain is cooking up a contender in Atlanta’s chicken wing wars.
The restaurant has reportedly been interesting in serving chicken wings on a trial basis for some time now. With the new chicken wing trial, which runs until Feb. 11, Chick-fil-A hopes to have indisputable proof on whether they need to get into the business.
Where To Find Chick-fil-A Wings In Atlanta
Finding the items won’t be as easy as you’d think. Traditional Chick-fil-A locations won’t have the chicken wings on their menus. You’ll have to visit the company’s new brand Outfox Wings, which comes out of the Little Blue Menu, a “ghost kitchen” concept we reported on last year.
Little Blue Menu is a separate brand from the traditional Chick-fil-A offerings we know and love. The two outfits have totally different menus.
What Chick-Fil-A Location Has Chicken Wings?
Truett’s Chick-fil-A located at 3649 Hwy 138 SE, Stockbridge, GA 30281 is the only location selling the chicken wings, Chick-fil-A said. Here is a map to help you find it.

If you’re in the mood for a hidden gem with an open kitchen, come to the Omni Hotel’s New South Kitchen.
Here’s what one reviewer says about New South Kitchen. “Good breakfast buffet, but very expensive. Enjoyed my breakfast with a nice variety of good breakfast foods. The service and environment were very nice. Everything was great until I got my $30 bill! Probably will go somewhere else next time just based off the cost even though it was convenient and good.”
9. Wonderkid

I love the fact that you can walk or bike around the entire park and end up in different section. I spent hours walking around this park and loved it. I will sure be going there again for my nature walk. I love the fact that the city of Atlanta is working hard to create these different parks venue for people to be outside and keep them healthy. This is a smart investment for people who know how much health care cost in this country. Keep up the good work opening these different venue to keep us healthy.”

South Bend Park, one of the south side’s signature parks, is located at 1955 Compton Dr SE Atlanta. Here’s what one Google reviewer said: “The trail is very nice but the park itself is a bit sketchy. A lot of homeless make the covered areas their residence. The playground, and all play areas for that matter, could use a good pressure washing. The baseball field looks nice but no rec sports are offered by this park. There’s no public engagement from the city at this park. Which is unfortunate because our community needs it! Maybe a burger/hot dog day in exchange for the community to come out and clean up the park while meeting the neighbors. Just a thought.”
Centennial Olympic Park is the best Atlanta park for tourists, business travelers and children. Right in the middle of downtown, 21-acre Centennial Olympic Park was built for the 1996 Olympics and has a number of features left over from the Games, including the water gardens & the Fountain of Rings..

Less produce and more local artisans with cheese, meats, soaps, bread and on like that. We were there to walk our dogs, but the market was nice. Didn’t give it 5 stars because there is limited shaded area that is subject to being taken over for a birthday party and no off-street parking.”

Situated on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Maddox Park is a hot location due to its inclusion in the Beltline designs. Want easy access? Maddox Park is conveniently located across from the Bankhead MARTA Station.
Here’s what one reviewer said: “With the train station being literally at the park, the industrial ambiance is quite relaxing, if you ask me. The Marta train station is located across the street. Thankfully, a pavilion is close in distance to cool off at & is perfect for hosting parties. The basketball court is gated and filled with great street players. There is also a gated pool with a kiddie umbrella water area. The only thing I dislike is the lack of parking spaces in front of the parks community building.”
You might not know it but, Atlanta’s parks are endangered due to urban sprawl and utter neglect from city officials and the community. But you can do something about that.

Here’s what one reviewer says about Planet Bombay Indian Cuisine. “Food was awesome … real spices that makes food perfect. If you haven’t tried chicken fried rice, would recommend that, it’s so delicious, my two year old son loved it and i like it too. Try chili chicken and some butter chicken also. We were so happy by the end of our dinner and we are glad we made a good decision ending up at this restaurant. Lastly A big Thank you to Mr. Jewel for his kind service and coordination.
Taste Of India

Here’s what one reviewer says about Taste of India:”Asked for chicken briyani and got rice mixed with chicken curry. The guy added ghee rice in front of me. Please don’t buy chicken briyani. Don’t know about other dishes. This is pure adultery. Don’t think people are fools. I want the food corporation to look into this. If you don’t have briyani, inform the customer. Don’t try to prepare your own dishes.”

Here’s what one reviewer says about Little Bangkok: “This is my favorite restaurant. Some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The green curry gets me through pandemic stress and finals. The cheese rolls are delicious. It’s become my obsession! My fiancé never has to ask where I wanna go for dinner anymore. The answer will always be little Bangkok. Fast service. Delicious food, big portions, reasonable price. I can’t even describe how much I love this place. Thank you.”
