Arches Brewing in Hapeville is bringing back one of its most popular milkshake-style India Pale Lagers, Lagerdoodle, on Thursday, Dec. 6.
“We dosed volume two with a blackberry puree and fresh vanilla beans,” the brewery notes. “A generous dry-hopping of Galena, Mosaic, and Styrian Wolf provides even more notes of berry. As if that wasn’t enough, flaked oats and wheat were added to round out the beer’s creamy mouthfeel.”
Arches Brewing is located at 3361 Dogwood Dr, Hapeville, GA 30354.

Marvel fans are losing their stuff after the Avengers 4 trailer debuted on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018. The 2-minute video didn’t show many of the superheroes but gave fans just enough of the plot to spark a frenzy.
News of the new trailer comes on the heels of Marvel’s new Captain America teaser. Unlike much of Avengers 4, which had key scenes shot in metro Atlanta, Captain America was filmed in London, Manchester, Caerwent, and Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and Los Angeles.
The new Infinity War trailer is set to be released in the UK Wednesday afternoon with American audiences reportedly getting a glimpse on “Good Morning America.”
Where was Avengers 4 filmed?
Filming for Avengers 4 began in August 2017 at Pinewood Studios in Fayetteville. The Atlanta area has been embraced by Marvel producers as an affordable place to shot and do post-production on the Avenger movies, including some of their individual superhero movies such as Ant-Man.
So far, three Avengers films have been shot in ATL with one slated for release in 2019.
The Captain Marvel trailer debuted during halftime of the Washington Redskins-Philadelphia Eagles game, which starts at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Fans can expect the usual superheroes with deep story arcs, including Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Widow and of course, Thanos.
Captain Marvel will be released in U.S. theaters on March 8, 2019, a few months ahead of Avengers 4, which premieres May 3.

“The Long Goodbye” is a dramedy about love, hope, and letting go. For Mrs. Pet, disbelief is the easiest way to deal with the death of her only child, 28-year-old Amy.
For Clarence, Mrs. Pet’s husband, and Terry, her son-in-law, time is the best medicine. It’s been nearly two years since Amy died on Christmas morning. And for two years Mrs. Pet has patiently waited for her to return, believing that Amy didn’t die, but went away until she was better.
Mrs. Pet has been trapped in time since that morning, refusing to remove her Christmas tree or decor.

Mental Health America of Georgia is hosting its second annual end of year reception spotlighting our work in early intervention and crisis prevention through our maternal, youth, and adult programs. Conversations & Cocktails (formally known as Coats & Cocktails) will return for guests to enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music while we present our accomplishments. Guests will enjoy the beautiful view overlooking Midtown from the 18th Floor at the Nelson Mullins Law Firm in Atlantic Station.
During this event each year, we collect items to benefit Georgia’s homeless communities. This year we will be collecting toiletries which may include soap, shampoo, toothpaste/tooth brush, sanitary pads, wipes, and much more. We are dedicated to supporting all mental health populations around the state through our education, advocacy, and outreach efforts. In the US, 20-25% of the homeless population experiences some form of mental illness which can have a large impact on the access to everyday necessities.
