The Underdoggs Casting Call In Atlanta: How To Apply

The Underdoggs, is currently casting extras, stand-ins and background actors for upcoming scenes in Atlanta, Georgia.

The movie comes from the mind of Snoop Dogg and is partially based on his experience coaching his son’s youth football team. Actor and producer Kenya Barris is also connected to the project, which has been filming in Atlanta for about a month.

CAB Castings is now accepting submissions for extras to work on the upcoming MGM feature-length motion picture project “THE UNDERDOGGS”. Filming will be in Atlanta, GA and surrounding areas.

We will be casting for Non-Union talent. All extra work, testing and fittings are paid. Local hire only, no travel or housing provided. Filming will generally take place Monday through Friday and is often a 12+ hour commitment for each day of work.

Mandatory local COVID testing will be required before any in-person work. Testing will be provided by production.

The production has adopted a mandatory vaccine requirement for Zone A.

What Is The Underdoggs About?

The Underdoggs is about a former professional football player named Jaycen Jennings (Snoop Dogg) who has to coach a peewee football team as a condition of his parole.

“The Underdoggs is a real personal project for me considering that I’ve been coaching football for 15+ years with the Snoop Youth Football League that I started with my long-time business partner Constance Schwartz-Morini. Giving back to the community through football has taught us so many invaluable life lessons that we’ve been able to share with kids in similar situations like mine when I was growing up. My hope is that this movie will shed light on the realities that kids and adults face in the hood and within the complex world of football,” said Snoop Dogg.

“Having been fortunate to work with each in the past, I can attest that Snoop, Charles, and Kenya are the perfect ingredients to make Underdoggs a classic sports comedy,” said Jonathan Glickman. “In particular, Snoop’s personal connection to the material will make for a film that not only delivers laughs, but a whole lot of heart for generations of fans.”
