• 8 a.m. — Visit a Waffle House. Any Waffle House. No place is as authentically Atlanta.
• 9 a.m. — With your belly full, it’s time to see the city close up. Rent a Bird scooter and explore downtown Atlanta.
• 10 a.m. — Pass by urban landmarks like the Ellis Hotel, the Ritz-Carlton and make your way to Midtown Atlanta.
• 12 noon — You also might want to enjoy a daily special from one of notable Atlanta restaurant.
• 1 p.m. — If you want to see some of the city’s street market culture, take an Uber to Krog Street Market or Ponce City Market.
• 2 p.m. — From Ponce City Market, you can take a short walk to the Atlanta Beltline, where you can explore the city from a neighborhood level.
• 3 p.m. — After a nice walk, it’s time for some ATL cinema. Check out one of Atlanta’s many movie theaters.
• 6 p.m. — It’s time for an evening cocktail. Some great bars to try are The Lawrence in Midtown, Sear in Marriott downtown and the Ritz Carlton on Peachtree.
• 7 p.m. — Hungry for some fried seafood? You’ll love Poboys at Krab Queenz on Peachtree. 
• 10 p.,m. — If you want to enjoy some live music, you’ll want to check out.

The largest park in downtown Atlanta, Centennial Olympic Park was birthed for the 1996 Olympics. The park now hosts private events, concerts and is full of serene walking paths and water gardens.

The city’s preeminent park, Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta is the perfect place to job, walk or just chill on the green grass. The park has a pristine pond, a huge running track, sprawling jogging paths, basketball courts, dog parks and more.

Woodruff Park

Few green spaces have the visibility of Woodruff Park, located along the city’s spine of Peachtree Street. The park located in the center of Georgia’s financial center, downtown Atlanta and Georgia State University has fountains, sculptures, a famous chess court and a pavilion.
