There’s Fine Thai Food Going On At Buckhead’s Chai Yo

Chai Yo's bar-guru Timothy Faulkner has created an elevated cocktail program using Thai-influenced ingredients including butterfly pea flower, lychee, lemongrass and kaffir lime. Join him at the bar this evening.

We told you about the newest thai spot in Buckhead, Chai Yo, when it soft-opened earlier this winter. Now, the eatery has hit its stride.

One of its most popular dishes so far is “Plah Pla Meuk” a grilled marinated octopus in lime juice tossed with a number of delectable veggies for ascent. If you’re a curry lover (like me) there are a handful of dishes that you’ll love, like the Neau Panang and Khew Wan Kai.

Located at 3050 Peachtree Road NW Atlanta,, Suite R-8, the restaurant is hoping its affluent address will set it apart from the competition.

The restaurant says that it brings a “chef-driven Thai concept featuring Chef DeeDee Niyomkul’s interpretation of traditional and old-world Thai recipes using new world techniques and inspiration. From the family that created Nan Thai Fine DiningTuk Tuk Thai Food Loft and Tamarind Seed.”

We couldn’t agree more. But don’t take our word for it. Reserve your table at www.chaiyoatl.com.
