The eatery’s assets are valued at more than $1 billion and they’ve got some aggressive expansion plans in the making. The salad chain is super-popular with millennials, who have shown the willingness to pay higher prices for sustainable food. None other than tennis star Naomi Osaka joined Sweetgreen as an investor. She has her own protein bowl on the eatery’s menu.
