Slutty Vegan is going back to college, or, technically the Institute of Technology! The popular restaurant is opening on the Georgia Tech campus in Midtown Atlanta.

The restaurant confirmed the news on social media, saying that “the cat’s out of the bag,,” after Eater Atlanta broke the story. Slutty Vegan has long been one of the best vegan burger joints in the city and now that it’ll be accessible in Midtown, that’s even better.

Slutty Vegan Opening On Georgia Tech Campus This Spring

Slutty Vegan-Georgia Tech is set to open in March 2023, according to the publication. The opening will usher in a busy year for Slutty Vegan founder and CEO Pinky Cole, who continues to be aggressive with expansion.

Buoyed by the success she’s had in the Atlanta market, Cole at one point was embarking on a plan to open as many as 13 restaurants over the next couple of years, we previously reported.

With restaurants going bonkers in Atlanta’s Westview neighborhood, Old Fourth Ward and a funky bar concept in Ponce City Market. there’s nothing but momentum to build on.

Final Word

Slutty Vegan has been a huge success since it opened in early 2019. Cole, a former TV producer, began the eatery as a food truck specializing in plant-based burgers.

Slutty Vegan is a welcome addition to the food landscape in Midtown Atlanta, which has its share of seafood, steakhouses and more.

The best restaurants on the Beltline all have excellent customer service and food. What separates them from many of the other spots is that they’re on the urban playground called the Beltline.

The ATL has other cool eateries as well. If you’re gluten-free, there’s plenty of options. Same goes for keto-friendly restaurants or Asian fare in Atlanta.
