Investigators testified that Favors acknowledged engaging in sexual contact with a person she referred to as “Larry,” who was identified as the minor.

She reportedly told Hapeville detectives that the individual entered an elevator with her, went to her room, claimed to be 18, and that the contact was consensual. Defense counsel has also indicated the child approached her. These remain allegations; Favors has not been convicted.
At the bond hearing on Tuesday, August 25, the alleged victim’s mother addressed the court (in a statement or impact remarks).
