Use Of This Personal Care Product Has Plummeted Due To COVID-19

As we well know, the coronavirus pandemic has transformed the way we live in more ways than more.

One thing that has changed is the personal hygiene of Americans, according to a major consumer goods company.

Because people are interacting in person less and less, demand for deodorant and makeup has plummeted, according to Unilever.

” Hair wash and care, hair styling, skincare and deodorants have all been impacted by lockdown living as people have not been socializing or going out to work. And so that simply mean fewer personal care occasions,” Unilever Group CEO Alan W. Jope said during a recent earnings call.

The executives don’t necessarily come out and say that use of deodorants and other personal care items have fallen, but the lack of sales is a clear indication that due to shelter in place orders and general precautions that people are taking regarding going out, it’s having an impact on what consumers buy.

If you’re looking for a way to stay fresh and smell good throughout the day, here are some of the top deodorants you can buy in bulk:

The company, which owns Dove soap and other cosmetics brands, says deodorant use is down. But it’s not like the company is hurting.

Unilever also owns Ben & Jerry, which along with other ice cream brands, has seen exponential growth during the pandemic, as millions of Americans have been sheltering in place and eating sweets.

No matter what you buy, make sure you stay safe during this pandemic, because the COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the United States.
