Fans of Starz’s hit drama P-Valley have been patiently (and impatiently) waiting for news on the show’s return since Season 2 wrapped up in late 2024.

The critically acclaimed series, created by Katori Hall and based on her play P*** Valley, follows the lives of the dancers and staff at The Pynk, a strip club in the fictional Mississippi Delta town of Chucalissa.

When Will P-Valley Return To TV?

With its raw portrayal of Black Southern life, queer stories, and unapologetic grit, the show quickly became a standout on the network.

The good news? P-Valley is definitely coming back. Starz renewed the series for a third season back in October 2022, with plans for another 10-episode run. Production faced significant delays due to the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but filming finally kicked off in April 2024 in Atlanta and wrapped in November 2024.

We’re also hoping the show will continue to cast in Atlanta.

Cast members have been vocal about the excitement. In interviews, actress Gail Bean (Roulette) confirmed that “Season 3 is in the can” and ready for release as early as Starz wants. Shannon Thornton (Keyshawn/Miss Mississippi) has teased that this season is “so good” and will shake things up at The Pynk.

Several actors have been promoted to series regulars for Season 3, including Gail Bean, Bertram Williams Jr. (Woody), and Thomas Q. Jones (Mane). Newcomer Mea Wilkerson joins as Haiku, a chaotic new dancer, and additional recurring cast members like Nicholas G. Sims (Calvin) and others have been added to expand the world of Chucalissa.

So, When Is the Release Date?

As of mid-December 2025, Starz has not announced an official premiere date for P-Valley Season 3. Despite filming completing over a year ago and post-production likely wrapped, the network has kept details under wraps.

Recent updates from fan sites and insiders suggest the show could arrive in early 2026, possibly in the first few months of the year, to align with Starz’s scheduling.Earlier speculation pointed to a 2025 return—potentially summer or fall—but with no trailer, teaser, or announcement yet, a slip into 2026 seems increasingly likely.

The delay isn’t due to production issues; the episodes are complete. It may be strategic scheduling amid Starz’s other originals like the Power universe and new projects.

In the meantime, seasons 1 and 2 are available on Starz, and have recently rolled out to Netflix in select international regions, building hype ahead of the new season. The Pynk Posse remains strong, and Uncle Clifford (Nicco Annan), Mercedes (Brandee Evans), Lil Murda (J. Alphonse Nicholson), and the rest of the crew will be back to serve more drama, dollars, and depth.

We’ll update as soon as Starz drops that long-awaited premiere date—stay tuned! What are you most excited to see in Season 3? Drop your theories in the comments.

Final Word

Yes, P-Valley was renewed for Season 3 back in late 2022, and while there’s no official 2026 premiere date yet (as of Dec 2025), production wrapped in late 2024, and insiders suggest a late 2026 or early 2027 release for Season 3, meaning it could fall into 2026, but fans are still eagerly awaiting Starz to announce the final date for the already-filmed season.
