Atlanta is slated to be the first city in the nation where football fans will be able to enjoy sports experience packages. The events will offer unprecedented fan-athlete interaction in various ways.

The deal was announced this week through a licensing and marketing deal between the National Football League Players Association and QuintEvents, which will deliver the experiences. The packages are set to begin soon.

The licensing deal will mean that QuintEvents will have control of NFL player images through the program and be able to shepherd fans and players at exclusive events, including meet-and-greets, autograph sessions and photo opportunities.

“There is a significant opportunity to celebrate the game of football while bringing fans and players together, and the NFLPA is the perfect partner in this mission,” said Brian Ruede, President at QuintEvents. “QuintEvents’ extensive history of delivering thousands of football-centric travel, hospitality and experience packages around sports and entertainment events makes this partnership with the NFLPA very exciting.”

Business clients will be able to take advantage of private engagements with players as well.
Timed to coincide with the Super Bowl, which is happening in the city next year, the first QuintEvents function will take place in Atlanta in February 2019. This is what they have planned:
  • Access to the NFLPA Legends Club Hospitality event hosted by Barry Sanders and other football legends. The pre-and post-game event will take place at the Georgia Freight Depot and feature gourmet food, a premium-drink open bar, photo opportunities, meet-and-greets and more.
  • Ground transportation and optional hotel rooms like the Ellis Hotel, the Omni Atlanta CNN Center, Intercontinental Buckhead and the W Hotel in Midtown.
